Leh and around
Ladakh, the land of jagged peaks and barren landscape is at once alluring and awe inspiring. Leh is the capital of ladakh, and the largest town of the region. It is located to the north of the Indus river at an elevation of 3600m above the sea level. Leh offers a wide array of sightseeing. The town is dominated by the nine storey Namgyal Palace built by King Singge Namgyal in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture. Ladakh also known as Little Tibet or the land of Lamas is predominantly a Buddhist dominated area. One is welcomed to Ladakh with fluttering prayer flags and the sacred chants of OM MANE PADME HUNG in the atmosphere. Other sightseeing options are Shey palace and monastery overlooking the holy pond and the picturesque Shey village, the famous Thiksey monastery, the Spituk village and its imposing monastery and the Stok Palace museum.

Tsomoriri
The Tsomoriri Lake is a beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, around 240 Kms, from Leh. The lake is located at 14000 Ft. near the small village Korzok. Korzok is sparsely populated and is the only permanent settlement in Rupshu, which is otherwise inhabited only by nomadic Chang-pa herdsmen.

Pangong Tso
The Pangong Lake is 160 kilometer from Leh and offers spectacular views of the region. The lake is surrounded by mountains and the colour of the lake changes shades throughout the day. This famous blue brackish lake is located on the India China border and is approximately 5 kms. wide and over 144 kms. long. Majority of the lake body falls in the Chinese territory. Spangmik, the farthest point to which visitors are permitted, is only some seven kms. along the southern shore of the lake.

The Nubra valley
Nubra 'the valley of flowers' is located in north of Leh around 120 Kms. across Khardung La (18380ft), the world's highest motorable road. Nubra used to be an important trade centre on the famous silk route leading from Leh to Kashgar. The main attractions of this region are the Bactrian camels (double humped camels), Khardung La pass, the Diskit and Samstaling monasteries and the hot springs at Panamik.

Day-wise Itineary
DAY 1. Departure from Surat by Paschim express train in the evening by 3 tier AC.

DAY 2. Arrival at Chandigarh in the afternoon at 3.30 PM.Visit famous Rock garden and depart for Manali in the evening. DAY 3. Reach Manali early in the morning and transfer to hotel.Roam around Manali and rest. DAY 4. Manali to Jispa.Our journey to Leh starts today.We start early at 4 AM in the morning from Manali and reach Rohtang pass (3978mt).Stay at Rohtang pass for an hour to get acclimatize for higher altitude. Reach Jispa via Keylong and night stay at hotel. DAY 5. Jispa to Tso kar.Leave Jispa early morning and through Baralacha pass(4890mt), Sarchu, Lachangla pass(16617 ft.) and Moreplain(biggest and highest plateau on earth on stretch of 42 kms) reach Tso karo.Overnight stay in camp.Enroute visit Dipaktal & Surajtal Lakes. DAY 6. Tso kar to Tso moriri Lake and night stay in camps. DAY 7. Tso moriri Lake to Leh (via Changla).Post breakfast we chek out and drive to Leh via Chumathang and overnight stay in hotel.Enroute visit Hemis monastery and Stok palace. DAY 8. Leh (Excursion to Monasteries)In the morning visit to Spituk monastery & Hall of fame and in the evening visit to Sankar gompa and Leh palace. Overnight saty in hotel. Day 9. Leh to Pangong lake.Chekout from hotel and drive to Pangong Lake.Enjoy the land scape in the back drop of the lake. Evening at the leisure and overnight stay at the camp near lake. Day 10. Pangong Lake to Leh.Morning at leisure and later we drive back to Leh,enroute visiting Thiksey monastery & Shey palace. Overnight in hotel at Leh. DAY 11. Leh to Hunder(Nubra Valley)After breakfast we drive to worid's highest motorable road, Kahrdungla pass and reach Hunder via visiting Sumur(Samstnling Gompa). Overnight stay in Oragnic retreat camps at Hunder.

DAY 12. Hunder to Leh.Post breakfast visit to Sand dunes to enjoy camel safari. After that back to Leh via Khardungla pass.Overnight stay in hotel. DAY 13. Leisure day at Leh. DAY 14. Leh to Delhi.Transffer To Airport after breakfast and fly from Leh to Delhi.Reach delhi in the after noon and departure from Delhi for Surat by Augustkranti express. DAY 15.
