Hard work and dedication are part of the

strive to excel. But some people do not have that
drive to excel; others have so much of it that they

get involved in too many activities and burnout.

With school, work, and other activities it becomes

easy to get tired. Here the strive to excel may be
gone. The strive to just survive has taken over.

It's not unusual to occasionally want to stay in

bed instead of going to school. Students that
come to school, except for only occasionally

staying in bed, and go through the hassles of
homework, jobs, activities, and student life can

look back and proudly say, "We survived 95!"

BOY'S TRACK

Track season is here again and while
some of us are rushing around to get

to a job, the track team is working on

S T O R Y A N D L AY O U T B Y T I M R AY

getting to the finish line. Track takes
hard work and dedication to com

pete. You do the thing that most of us
hate to do, run, and run somemore.
