1). Administration Department, responsibilities included:

• Dealing with various government departments like Social Security,

Employees’ Old Age Benefits Institution, Civil Defence, Labour department
and Cantonment Board etc.
• Management of different memberships of the company like Chamber of
Commerce, All Pakistan Textile Mills Association etc.
• Attend and cooperate with all delegations whether foreign or local.
• Management of Insurance of all assets of the company including group life
• I was also responsible for submission and recovery of insurance claims.
• Authenticate the application of human resources policies on recruitment,
promotion, service and leaving of employees.
• Management of rented property of the company including their maintenance,
rent recovery, agreements, increases of rent etc.
• Management of publication of various notices, advertisement of the company
whether legal or business promoting.
• Survey of Colony.
• Resolution Committee.

2). Internal Audit Department, responsibilities included:

• Authentication and audit authorization of all vouchers.

• Audit/ Reconcile of creditors’ accounts for payment.
• Audit approval of all bills and invoices.
• Conducting of monthly stock check, preparation and finalization of stock
taking reports.
• Conducting of quarterly audit of stores and spares department.
• Conducting of monthly and surprise cash check.

3). Accounts Department, responsibilities included:

• I have successfully prepared the fixed Asset register independently first time
in the history of the company.
• Maintaining record of Creditors/ Party accounts.

4). Tax Department, responsibilities included:

• Preparing and submitting Turnover tax returns under section 147 on

quarterly basis.
• Preparing and submitting (e-file) withholding tax returns under section 165 on
monthly basis.
• Assist in preparation of annual tax return of the company.
• Preparing Employees’ and Directors’ withholding tax calculations and
• Maintaining various type of tax record.
• Maintaining record of deduction/ deposit of withholding tax on payments.
• Preparing of all types of tax payment challans and e-payment record.
• Maintaining record of export tax challans.
