I. Job Purpose/Objective
Under the direction of the Manager - Training, the Senior Trainer is responsible for training all new
employees of the client all its products.
The incumbent will be responsible for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training
Programs; conduct training needs assessments, execute product & sales training and evaluate outcomes.
II. Key Responsibility Areas
The Sr. Trainer will perform some or all of the following tasks:
Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
Must be a leader that sets the standard and expectations through example in his/her conduct,
work ethic, integrity and character
Able to facilitate & effectively deliver the Product & Sales training programs to all new hires
Able to facilitate & effectively deliver the Customer service training programs to all new hires
ls able to effectively coach the new hires in order to convert them to efficient resources for the
business
Takes accountability of the batch and Is able to manage & resolve any issues that arrise during
the course of the training
Can effectively manage the entire training environment i.e. Facilities, infrastructure etc.
Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and
practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs
Is able to timely communicate the reports and other training MIS for every batch without fail
Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs
Monitor and measure effectiveness of his training programs and takes proactive steps to resolve
any such issues
Partner with individual departments heads to outline deliverables, expectations and risks, to
include specific training needs for the employees in order to increase productivity
Proactively work with the Management team to identify and resolve issues
Create high quality deliverables within project budget and policy deadlines
Actively participate in progressive disciplinary process for employees not able to meet the
expectations
Certifications required (any): TTT (Train the Trainer), MTF (Master Trainer & Facilitator),
Instructional Designer, Corporate Trainer, Soft Skills trainer, Learning & Development Specialist etc.
