Calculation method of steel weight

1. The improvement of the symmetry of the gross weight is "net weight", which is
the total weight of the steel itself and the packaging materials combined.
Transportation enterprise calculates the freight by gross weight. But in purchasing,
steel is calculated by net weight.
2. The improvement of the symmetry of the net weight is "gross weight".
Steel gross weight minus the weight of the packing material weight is the actual
weight, called the net weight. In purchasing steel generally calculated on the net
weight.
3. steel tare weight. Packaging materials weight is called the tare weight.
(4) weight calculated by steel gross freight to use when the weight of the unit.
The legal unit of measurement for tons (1000 kg), and long ton (imperial unit of
weight 1016.16 kg), short tons (American weight 907.18 kg).
5] chargeable weight which is also called "freight ton".
Transport department charges the steel weight of the freight. Different means of
transport has different standards and methods.
In general, such as rail vehicle used as a chargeable weight tag load of freight cars.
Road transportation is combined with the freight charges dead weight of the vehicle.
Railway, highway less-than-one carload, adhered to the minimum chargeable
weight, gross weight several kilograms less than into a whole.
4. steel weight calculation theory
Steel weight calculation theory of the measuring unit is kilograms (kg).
The basic formula is:
W (weight, kg) = F (sectional area was) * L (length, m) * rho (density, g/cm3) by
1/1000
The density of steel is: 7.85 g/cm3, theories of steel weight computation formula is
as follows:
Angle: the weight per meter (kg) = width x thickness x 0.015
Angle: the weight per meter (kg) = 0.00785 x [d (side) (2 b (wide) - d (edge)) +
0.215 (R (inner arc radius) 2-2 r (end arc radius > >) 2)]
Unequal Angle: the weight per meter (kg) = 0.00785 x [d (< long edge width > B +
B <short edge width> - <edge thickness> d) + 0.215 (R < inner arc radius> 2-2 r
<end arc radius> 2)]
Six Angle: the weight per meter (kg) = 0.00785 x width x thickness (b) (d)
Example: the edge distance of 50 mm six Angle steel, for each m the weight.
Every m = 0.006798 x 502 = 17 kg in weight
Eight Angle: weight (kg) per meter (S) = 0.0065 x to edge distance x to edge
distance (S)
Example: eight Angle to edge distance is 80 mm, for each m the weight.
Weight per meter=0.0065 x 802 = 41.62 kg
Round steel: weight (kg) per meter diameter = 0.00617 x diameter x diameter
(note: rebar and round steel are the same)
Flat steel: weight per meter (kg) =0.00785*edge*thickness
Square tube: weight per meter (kg) = (length+length) x 2 x thickness x 0.02466

Seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe: weight per meter (kg) = 0.02466*wall
thickness*(outer diameter-wall thickness.
Galvanized steel pipe: weight per meter (kg) = 0.02466 * wall thickness * x
1.06(outer diameter-wall thickness.
Plate: weight per meter (kg) = 0.785 x thickness
Non-ferrous metal sheet of the calculating formula for: the weight of every square
metre (kg)=thickness * proportion.
The proportion of various non-ferrous metals are as follows: copper plate 8.9 brass
sheet 8.5 zinc plate 7.2 lead plate 11.37 aluminum plate 2.8.
Aluminum checkered plate: the weight of every square metre (kg) = 2.96 *
thickness.
Copper tube: weight per meter(kg)= 0.02796*wall thickness*(outer diameter-wall
thickness)
Brass tube: weight (kg) per meter= 0.02670*wall thickness* (outer diameter-wall
thickness.
C payments: (length + two height+ two high Angle boundary)*thickness*density =
weight per meter
