Scope of the Position


The Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) intern will do day-to-day monitoring and evaluation related to dreamflys
projects in Pakistan. The incumbent will ensure that the projects of dreamfly maintain their strategic vision and that projects
progress results in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost effective and timely manner. The intern is supposed to
assist the Country director in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities
on a regular basis.

Summary of Key Functions


1.

Provide progress updates to the Country Director, donors and key stakeholders.

2.

Serve as the primary focal person for all monitoring and evaluation related work.

3.

Research and collect content and stories about the project's achievements.

4.

Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.

5.

Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.

6.

Suggest strategies to the Country Director for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by
identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities.

7.

Assist the Country Director in preparing relevant reports.

Qualifications

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills


1. BS (Economic and Mathematics) student from an accredited college/university.
Preferably Sophomore/Junior year.

Able to plan and manage surveys, develop and refine data collection tools.
Able to facilitate and serve as a project liaison for externally-managed
evaluations.
Must be proficient in both written and spoken English language.
Expert in analyzing data using statistical software.

Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and with little supervision
Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a very young and fast-growing
organization.

Back in 2007, dreamfly was founded by Umaimah Mendhro to encourage the children of her village to dare to dream; to globally
connect with those who share the same dreams as theirs and to become considerate citizens. dreamfly started with its mission in
Pakistan by building a primary school in a village Akri, situated in Sindhs coastal district Golarchi. Since that time, dreamfly has
expanded its projects to several other countries, such as India, Afghanistan, Rwanda and Colombia, thereby embarking on a global
mission of connecting the societies in conflict and empowering them.
