Volunteering
Im part of a recreative association with all kinds of work fields, from music to chess. When I joined them,
I was 11 years old and started to play clarinet in their philarmonic band. I grew up there and they
became a part of my life.I was part of their choir, their youth orchestra and their philarmonic band.
Now, that Im far away (Aveiro is at 200 Km from my hometown) I just go there from time to time,
mostly to help when they have to serve lunchs or dinners, where I use to help them in the kitchen or
serving at tables.
Ive been part of the group of students of my course responsible to organise the activities for first year
students in my second year, and in my third year I was part of the group responsible for controlling this
activities in the university.

Academic
Im in my fourth year of university, taking Chemical Engineering. Im also a volunteer at a lab from a
research center called CICECO, in Aveiros University. I started in the beginning of this semester, and
right now Im working on a project by myself there.
Free Time
On my free time, I try to be a calm person because my days are normally done in a rush. I like to hear
music, to read and to be with my friends. I love everything that is about music, because Im a musician
since I was 11. I love to sing and, as I said before, I play clarinet. I used to make amateur theatre but I had
to stop because my group was in my hometown and now I cant go to the rehearsals because Im not at
home when they happen.
Right now, Im not a person with much free time because I work in a part-time job at a hostel in Aveiro,
so I enjoy my free days (or hours) like if they were about to end!
