Damansara Damai Station

2.1

Further to the realignment of monsoon drain wall (before Damansara


Damai Station), DDC to submit the proposal and get approval from
relevant authority (JPS & LUAS).

PDP highlighted that the station entrance at North side encroaches into
Syabas reserve. DDC to make adjustment to avoid encroachment.
DDC to obtain approval from authorities (JPS & LUAS) for the proposed
RC wall due to the difference in level.
PDP informed that the latest proposed scheme for Damansara Damai
was issued to DDC on 7/5/2015. DDC to carry out engineering checking
before the scheme can be finalized.

MSPR
DDC reported that they have visited the site and found that the MSPR
can be refurbished in order to comply with current authority
requirements.
DDC was requested to get a black and white information from MBPJ on
the reasons why the MSPR was not issued CF.
Based on the current development and new findings, DDC was

requested to resubmit the revised report.

IWK building (Ch. 7360)

3.1

DDC informed that the existing IWK pump house will be relocated just
besides the existing location. Based on DDCs study, they confirmed
that the existing piping will not be affected as it can be avoided.

DDC was reminded to expedite the submission for relocation of IWK


pump house.

It was highlighted that foundation of DD27 portal pier clashes with the
existing box culvert 9.6m x 2m. LDC to revisit the design. Tanya Khairi

Pier Position to Consider Future Road Widening

6.1

LDC has shifted Pier DD08 & DD09 away from the road for future road
widening consideration.

TPSS 4

7.1

Based on the new pier arrangement by LDC, DDC reported that they are
able to accommodate the TPSS footprint accordingly.

8.0

Newly found SYABAS Water Pipe (Ch. 7450 Ch. 8100)

8.1

Further to the newly found SYABAS water pipe 1850 dia. running along
slip road to Prima Damansara, PDP has submitted the piloting result to
DDC on 16/4/2015. Based on discussion with SYABAS on 20/4/2015, DDC
was requested to work out the detailed design for the relocation
proposal submission.

Cantilever bridge (DD27-DD40)

9.1

PDP highlighted that Pier DD29 is found to be sitting on the slip road
egress. LDC was requested to shift the pier 3m to the down chainage
while DDC to make adjustment to the retaining wall and surface work to
accommodate the pier rearrangement

Sri Damansara West Station


There will be changes introduced to the station scheme. Further

Sri Damansara Ramp (SDW07 & SDW08)


DDC informed that the existing bridge cannot be maintained as the
nosing length cannot be achieved. A separate discussion will be held to
finalize the scheme for the modification/reconstruction.

Sri Damansara East Station


There will be changes introduced to the station scheme. Further
discussion will be done later once the scheme is finalized. Tanya Khairi

Persiaran Dagang
Based on discussion on the construction methodology for pier
foundations along Persiaran dagang, the followings have been agreed:
-

To adopt single pile hand dug caisson from SDE12-SDE23


To maintain 4 pile group foundation before SDE12.
To adopt pile bent/ single row 2 pile bored pile from SDE24 to
SDE30.

LDC was requested to study on adjusting Pier SDE35 to accommodate


road or change to portal.
PDP to specify in PS on the need to provide temporary protection for the
adjacent SYABAS water pipe during bored piling works. PDP to also allow
for contingency sump for water pipe repair works if damaged.

Proposed Pile Caps Level Higher than Ground Profile


Based on the ground profile prepared by DDC (software generated), LDC
highlighted that some of proposed pile caps top level (mostly at V1) are
higher than the profile. LDC to list down the entire problematic pier
positions/pile caps and DDC to recheck.

Kepong Sentral Station


PDP informed that the station scheme is in the midst of finalization. PDP
will forward the agreed scheme for DDC to proceed with design as soon
as possible.

As for the precaution measure for the construction of Pier KS12 which is
very close to the existing condo suction tank, DDC reported that they
will adopt RCD method for the 1.2 m diameter bored pile installation.
DDC to provide drawings for the modification of existing pedestrian
bridges roof at pier KS25.
Retaining Wall (KS14-KS16)
PDP suggested DDC to consider J-type of retaining wall (retaining wall
integrated with road side drain) for KS14-KS16 instead of typical L-type
wall.
MRR2 and DUKE Parapet Wall Extension
Further to the request on extending the existing parapet wall of the
existing roadways above MRT guideway, DDC proposed to adopt steel
frame wall instead of changing it to RC structure in order to reduce the

loading impact to the existing structure.


DDC was requested to ensure that the proposal is approved by the
authority.

KS27
PDP highlighted that Pier KS27 is hitting TM Azman to confirm way
cable and requested LDC to reposition the pier. Based on discussion, the
rearrangement of piers will not save the piers from hitting the TM cables
hence, TM cables need to be relocated.

New Pedestrian Bridge in front of AEON (Metro Prima Station)


The construction of new pedestrian bridge by DBKL near the proposed
Metro Prima Station is causing impact to the station planning.
PDP has managed to get the related drawings from DBKL and the
information was forwarded to DDC on 3/3/2015. DDC to study on the
possibility of integrating the pedestrian bridge and revert.

Due to the vertical clearance issue below MP09 crossbeam, some
surface work modification has been made to the existing green lung.
The surface work modification had caused the existing service road to
be shifted towards the Petronas Petrol Station and affects the existing
walkway along the road.
PDP requested DDC to check on the requirement for partly acquisition of
Petrol Station land.

LDC has worked out 2 proposals for consideration:
a) Portal pier option and affects 200m Gas pipe.
b) Single T-shape pier with road realignment towards South. The

The management is in favour to go with the portal pier option in order


to avoid the relocation of 9-way Telekom cable which is very costly.
However, PDP needs to confirm whether the portal pier option really can
avoid the needs of relocating the TM cable (2km) and finalize the cost
and construction duration comparison before final decision can be
made.

SDL17, SDL18 & SDL19 (TM Compund near Sri Delima Pond)
In order to ovoid or reduce social impact to the TM compound, LDC has
converted the affected viaduct standard span to long span crossing.
DDC to get confirmation from TM on the 100m long span crossing
proposal.

PDP highlighted the needs to integrate Kentonmen Station with the


proposed UOA development nearby. Once the information is in place,
DDC needs to make adjustment and improvement to the current design
i.e. station access and circulation to accommodate with the new
development.

DDC was reminded that the design clearance underneath Kentonmen


station shall consider the requirement by Thaipusam Chariot Committee
which is 24 feet height.
Abutment
DDC highlighted that the current location of the abutment (as stipulated
by LDC) is different from the original proposed location. Since the
difference will not give critical impact towards their design, DDC agreed
to adopt the current location and make adjustment to their design
accordingly.

Jalan Ipoh Station


DDC informed that the current design approach for the half-sunken
station will be portal frame with secant bored pile. To reconfirm.
