Rates
GVEA offers five different rates to its members, depending on the classification of the service provided.
The rates are divided into two categories: Residential and General Service (GS).
Eighty­five percent of the electric services on GVEA's system are single­family dwellings, classified
under the Residential rate. The four General Service rates apply to small and large power users that
do not qualify for the Residential rate.

GS­3 members are subject to a Demand Charge.

GS­2 (P) Large General Service Primary
Services at primary voltage
GS­3 Industrial Service
Services at transmission voltage
