FEATURED CHAMPAGNE
Egly-Ouriet, " Tradition Grand Cru", NV - $168
One of the original "Grower-Producer" Champagnes.
Francis Egly crafts dynamic, robust champagnes
from the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay. This
powerful yet complex wine reminds us that
Champagne can rival other great wine regions,
bubbles or not.

FEATURED POUILLY-FUM
D. Dagueneau, "Buisson Renard", 2011 - $179
Farming individual vineyards in his hometown
of Saint-Andelain outside Sancerre, the wines of
Didier Dagueneau forever changed the potential
of Sauvignon Blanc. Practicing healthy, natural
farming while never accepting mediocre produce,
Dagueneau became the universal benchmark for the
varietal. We chose the Buisson-Renard vineyard
because it shows more complexity in its youth than
any of the other parcels. And because it is rockstar.

FEATURED ZINFANDEL
Turley, "Old Vines", California, 2012 - $89
Wine drinkers will forever debate which country
makes the best interpretation of certain grapes.
Except one: Zinfandel. Unparalleled in the world of
wine is domestic Zin - and there is no name more
synonymous with this grape than Turley. This wine
is made from grapes sourced from 18 tiny vineyards
around California where the average age of the vines
is upwards of 80 years old. Turley's wines provide
a tremendous structure and concentration of flavor
that is rivaled by few, but envied by all.

FEATURED BORDEAUX
Chteau Belgrave, Haut-Mdoc, 2000 - $166
A grand cru class wine from an exceptional
vintage lends itself to incredible aging potential.
These bottles have been resting for 15 years in
the underbelly of the winery, their only other home
before making their way to our cellar. A delicate,
yet powerful, balance of bright ripe fruit and rustic
terroir, this wine's pedigree is shining through
beautifully.

FEATURED MARSANNAY
Bruno Clair, "Vaudenelles", 2011 - $90
If ever there was a fickle wine, Burgundy comes first
to mind. Disappointment and frustration accompany
the thrill of enjoying ethereal wines. Few producers
are as rustic, enjoyable, and consistent as Bruno
Clair. His "Vaudenelles" vineyard showcases the
unique terroir of the northern Cte d'Or.

FEATURED BAROLO
Renato Ratti, "Marcenasco", 2010 - $133
The region of Marcenasco has been producing
treasured wine since the 12th century. The wines of
Renato Ratti are traditionally encouraged to age for
an extended period of time, as their tannins are too
ripe.... unless there is an appropriately rich cut of
meat to absorb them and balance one's experience.

FEATURED TORO
Numanthia, 2008- $119
The Numanthia 2008 vintage is special as it was
the first vintage at the winery for Manuel Louzada,
their current winemaker. During his first vintage,
he wisely held back a mere 1,000 bottles with their
future undecided. These bottles remained at the
winery as his personal collection, aging beautifully in
ideal conditions. It was eventually decided that these
bottles should be released to the public in order to
demonstrate their incredible aging potential. Using
100% Tinto del Toro (Tempranillo), this wine is able
to combine power and concentration of fruit with the
elegance and terroir of an Old World wine.

FEATURED SAUTERNES
Chteau Suduiraut, 2002 - $229
Which wine brings you the most joy? Not the wine
that is most popular, complex or even the most
profound- but the one that makes your palate truly
happy? What else could you say but Sauternes.
Nowhere else in the world can compete with these
Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon-based stickies. Yes, its
sweet but just as complex with layers of exotic fruit
and honey that would make any foie gras blush!
