captures the life source and energy of her
subjects by exploiting the wonderful transparency of the medium and the sense of
light it creates. Sculptor c.t. whitehouse
(WI) frees the viewer to appreciate the remarkable ways light can play upon a
bronze surface by creating simple forms
and using minimal finishing techniques.
Jeweler Julie Cohn (TX) marries old-world
casting techniques with a modern aesthetic
allowing the luster of metal and semiprecious stones to emerge. All works in this
exhibition are available for purchase. Arts
Center members receive a 10% discount.
