L OCATION RECCE – O XFORD C IRCUS

S OUND
Noise pollution is caused by busy road with constant traffic as well as buses running
constantly. We will be filming in the evening, or early morning so Oxford Street
should not be majorly busy, and therefore there should not be that much ambient
sound.

L IGHTING
Lighting is alright at this time (early morning), the faces are clear without extra
lighting. In the evening we may need to use extra lighting as the light can change
dramatically very quickly. Street lights along Oxford Street are very good as they are
white lights and not yellow like normal, which means it gives a more natural look.

P OWER
No outlets nearby. However there are shops such as Starbucks and McDonalds as
well as smaller shops that we may be able to use, but to the restrictions of filming it
is best to use battery power.

H EALTH AND SAFET Y

Very busy road, with lots of traffic. Heavy public use of path way, meaning that we
need to use a monopod instead of a tripod to make sure we are not disrupting the
public as well as creating trip hazards for them.
