House Charity Sleep Out

Remember to check
the School Bulletin for
more information.

On 10th June we welcomed the sixth form back after their AS

exams. They spent the day working with three presenters from
Interview Guru to help them focus on what they will do once
they leave school, be it university, training schemes,
apprenticeships or employment.
The presentations were on Personal Statements, vital for University
applications and CVs, Interview Techniques, again useful for
employment and some university courses, and finally Cheap and
Healthy Meals.
There was a huge amount to take in and we are now following
up with careers interviews over the next couple of weeks, given
by David Ryde, an independent careers advisor, and a UCAS
registration day on 7th July to help the sixth form identify what
they want to do and where to study.

House Charity Sleep Out

Please could all parents of students taking part in
the upcoming Sleep Out encourage them to
fundraise, as the purpose of the event is to raise
money for young, homeless people. They can do
so using the following website:

Christs School students recorded further success

over last weekend as two students were
selected to represent Richmond Borough at the
London Youth Games rowing regatta in
Docklands. Isabel Lack (Yr8) and Milo Pilkington
-Massey (Yr9) rowed in the Female Coxed
Quad and Mixed Coxed Quad respectively.
Both crews came away with a silver medal in
their individual events, while overall Team
Richmond won gold, beating Hackney and
Greenwich into 2nd & 3rd respectively. Well
done to Team Richmond!
Congratulations to Milo Pilkington-Massey,
Alisha Abdul and Kevin Habimana for
representing Richmond Borough at the
Middlesex athletics meet on Tuesday. Milo
pulled off a PB in his first regional competition,
and Levin and Alisha gained invaluable
experience through competing against club
athletes two years their senior.

page for pictures and fixture list.

Team Richmond at
the London Youth
Games and our
athletes at the recent
Middlesex athletics
meet.

Kind words are

easy to speak,
but their echoes
are truly
endless.

God of Mary,
When we say yes to your life within us,
you transform our ordinary experience
into something extraordinary.
Grant us the faith of Mary to do what we think is
impossible, and to change your world through the
power of love.

Mother Teresa

Amen
