I have written this to make life easy for all those who require extra help to

configure for NOI. Basically all your desktop will become the gateway for
the receiver once you are done.
Identify IP address of your computer
1. On your desktop, click on Start and select Run
2. Type CMD and click on Ok button
3. In the newly opened window, type IPCONFIG and press enter, (may have to scroll to top of the
window to view all the displayed text)
4. If you have more than one network connection (LAN, wireless), you need to decide which one
you wish to use for this exercise. Make note of the following information (All Steps have been
highlighted in yellow for ease of reference in later steps;
Connection Type:
:Ethernet Adapter LAN or Wireless LAN Adapter ... (A)
IPv4 Address. . . . . . ..: 192.

Subnet Mask . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0

5. Close the window open by typing exit and press enter

Configure your PC Network

Click Start and select Control Panel from the Start Menu
Select Network and Sharing Center from the Control Panel
Click on View Status for the Connection type noted in step (A)
Click on Properties button

5. On the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol Version 4 [TCP/IPv4] and click on
Properties button.

6. On the General tab of the Internet Protocol Version 4 [TCP/IPv4] Properties window;
Click on Radio button Use the following IP address and specify the values noted above;

Click on Radio button Use the following DNS server Address specify;
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.222
Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4 (Goggle public DNS server)

7. Click on Advanced...

8. Click on Add... (your screen will have values in the window below, I have removed them for
clarity)

Click on Add...
If software version of receiver is 27F (Check your Receiver software version)
specify the following information and click on OK button

If software version of receiver is 24 (Check your Receiver software version) specify


the following information and click on OK button

Click on OK closing all the windows opened for the above exercise

Configure the Receiver


1. Open Network Settings from the menu of the your receiver
2. If DHCP/Static is not set to Static, temporary change it to DHCP (to obtain a valid IP
information from network)
3. Now change the DHCP to Static, and all the network information will remain the same,
except you need to change the Gateway settings on this screen.
4. Change value for Gateway to match the value obtained in step (B), yes same as your
desktop IP Address. Nothing else need to change.
5. Save your changes and come out all the way.
6. Switch off the receiver (unless you feel lucky, do you feel lucky?)

Run the NOI program


1. Once the NOI program is opened, select the Setting tab and complete the screen with the
information provided by your private server provider. Value for key must be entered using
colons; 01:02:03:04:06:07:07:08:09:10:11:12:13:14
2. Click on Save and click on Start from the Main tab

3. Power On the Receiver and change to the channel that is suppose to be working;200 and wait,
and cross your fingers and legs.
4. If everything is working than you will be watching the TV and your NOI screen will look like
this;
