Supporting
Local Youth
Recently, the Yale Police Department (YPD)
hosted a bike rodeo for New Haven youth.
The event featured an obstacle course, bicycle
safety inspections, and prize giveaways.

Contributing to a Strong New Haven

The rodeo capped off New Haven Bike Month festivities. YPD officers demonstrated safe
biking techniques to local youth and their families, while also handing out safety accessories
such as helmets and photo ID cards. For more information, visit publicsafety.yale.edu.
