** Now you have shutdown all services , and you can start
copying your files ,
To copy files , you have an option to create a .tar file , but in
your case Since your service dont have enough spaces you
can copy files normally without creating .tar files by :
DB tier :
1- Login as oraprod user
2- Run VNCSERVER ( optional , just to make sure that the copy
will not be interrupted )
3- Cd /u01/HRPROD (change into the directory that contains
{apps_st & tech_st } files ,
4- Cp rp NAME OF THE DIRECTORY DESTINATION OS USER
NAME@IP OF DESTINATION SERVER:PATH ON DESTINATION
SERVER
EXAMPLE :
/u01/test
We want to copy the directory test to another server on
/u02
Scp rp /u01/test root@192.168.xx.xx:/u02
Apps Tier :
1- Login as applprod user
2- Repeat steps from 2 to 4
** After completing the copy you have to do cfgclone for
both tiers
STARTING with DB Tier :
cd /u01/xx/xx/xx { ORACLE_HOME}/appsutil/clone/
perl adcfgclone dbTier

then automatically it will ask you some questions such

as :
is this RAC DB {Y/N}
Path of DATA_TOP
And some other clear questions
After completing cfgclone , try to start the database and
make sure that db is working fine
Apps Tier :
Cd /u01/xx/xx/xx { ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME}
Perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier
It will automatically ask you some questions about paths
of apps tier and database paths
After completing , make sure that applications is starting
normally ,
