B - Override

Valet Mode

To Override the alarm & starter kill

To put the system in Sleep Mode for car

servicing or in Valet Parking
1- Turn the key to Ign On & within 6 sec.
2- Press & hold the programming button
3- System will chirp Once (1) with 1 parking light flash for Valet mode activated
(On). LED will stay ON for 5 sec then Off
for 5 sec continuously.
4- To turn Off the Sleep Mode or the
Valet Parking, repeat step 1 and 2.
System will chirp Twice (2) with 2 flashes to confirm.

Repeat step 1 and 2. System will chirp twice

(2) with 2 parking light flash to confirm.

To reactivate the alarm function

1- Turn the key to Ign On & within 6 sec.

2- Press & hold the programming button.
3- Siren or horn will stop sounding, alarm
and starter kill will be cancelled instanly in case of lost or malfunction of the
transmitter.

1- Proceed to Valet mode, step 1 to 4.

2- Within 60 second, turn the key to Ign
On, push and release foot brake pedal
slowly 3 times.

The LED will flash rapidly indicating
that the module is now in the transmitter programming mode.
3- Before the LED turns off, press the
Lock button of each transmitter to be
coded. One chirp will sound to confirm
the operation.

1- Proceed to Valet mode, step 1 to 4.

2- With Ignition at Off position, hold the
side button of the FM antenna for 2 sec
then release, the LED will turn on then
off indicating that the module is now in
the transmitter programming mode.
3- Press button Lock of the Two ways
transmitter first, one chirp will confirm.
Press same button Lock of the second
FM transmitter. The unit will accept up to
3 transmitters.

2-Warm up the engine at the normal temperature at approximately 800rpm. Press

and hold buttons +
(Lock & Unlock)
for 3 sec and release as soon as the parking lights start flashing to confirm the
learning procedure. Wait to hear 1 final
chirp (if horn is installed) with one final
parking flash to end the operation (if manual transmission 6 final chips with one
parking light flash).

1-Start the engine with the key, the LED will

stay solid if the tach source is correct. In
the negative, change to another location
or cut the Black/White loop. Unplug the
command module to reset for the new
setting. It happens sometime that the
tach signal seems to be correct when
the engine is warm, but it becomes weak
when it starts to getting cold.

Note : Si 4 piaulements se font entendre lors du verrouillage avec la tlcommande et que les portes
sont bien fermes, il est probable que le vhicule est dot du plafonnier retardement plus que
6sec. (dome delay). Dans ce cas ci, mettre hors fonction lOption 20 de la page 2.

E Apprentissage de Tach ( il faut complter les tapes 1 et 2 )

1-Dmarrer le vhicule avec la cl, le DEL reste
allum si le signal de Tach est correct. Dans
le cas contraire, changer la source de Tach ou
programmez le commutateur en mode tach
Faible (couper la boucle Noir/Blanc). Il se peut
que le signal de tach semble tre bon lorsque
le moteur est chaud mais varie la baisse
quand celui ci se refroidit. Dbranchez et rebranchez le module pour valider la nouvelle
modification.

2-Il est primordial de rchauffer le moteur

800rpm avant de procder ltape suivante
: -Garder enfoncer les boutons Lock & Unlock
pendant 3sec et relcher ds que les feux de
position commencent clignoter (5 fois). Attendre de percevoir 1 dernier piaulement (si install) ou 1 clignotement final avant dteindre
le moteur (si transmission manuelle, 6 dernier
piaulements ou 6 clignotement final).

F Expansion de sorties auxiliaires

Loption 16 vous permet daugmenter le nombre
de canal via la mme tlcommande. En ajoutant
le module dexpansion DA-900, vous pourrez
contrler louverture et la fermeture des 2 portes

coulissantes et la valise de la nouvelle Chrysler

Voyager, la Odyssey de Honda, la Ford Windstar et la Silhouette/ Transport de GM, la Toyota Sienna etc...

1-The LED lights up when you first start the engine then goes out when the brake pedal is depressed
If it is not the case, contact your installer
2-When the alarm and the starter kill are active, the LED will flash once every one second

Pour viter de toucher les boutons accidentellement:

Lors du dmarrage avec la cl, le tmoin lumineux reste allum et / ou steint ds que la pdale de frein est enfonce pour confirmer que le signal du moteur est correctement peru par le micro-processeur du dmarreur distance
Si ce nest pas le cas, faire vrifier par votre installateur
*Lorsque la fonction dalarme et lanti-dmarreur sont en fonction, le tmoin lumineux clignote environ 1 fois par
seconde
Dmarrage toutes es 2, 3 ou 4 heures Minuterie de nuit
1-Appuyer simultanment le bouton

6/10/15/20 minutes selon l'option choisie lors de l'installation. Pour mettre la minuterie 3 ou 4 heures, rpter
ltape 1 et les feux de position vont clignoter le nombre de fois correspondant
2-Pour Annuler cette fonction, dmarrer et arrter avec la tlcommande ou avec la cl du vhicule
N.B. Ne pas mettre en marche ce mode de dmarrage lorsque le vhicule est stationn dans un espace ferm

Commutateur de dmarrage On/Off (Demander votre vendeur de son emplacement)

Lorsque le vhicule est en rvision ou en stationnement dans un espace ferm, laisser toujours le commutateur de Scurit la position OFF pour mettre hors fonction le dmarrage distance .
Remettre le commutateur la position ON pour un usage normal avec la tlcommande.

Si vous dsirez garder le moteur du vhicule en marche et faire fonctionner les contrles climatiques
(chauffage ou climatiseur) pendant des courtes priodes o vous ntes pas dans le vhicule, suivre
les procdures suivantes:
Avant dteindre e moteur:
1 Appuyer et relcher le bouton START / STOP
2 Retirer la cl du contact. Le moteur continuera de tourner.
3 Ouvrir et fermer la porte du vhicule. Armer et verrouiller avec la tlcommande (si installe) ou de
manire conventionnelle. Le moteur tournera jusqu un maximum de 20 minutes
NB: Cette fonction ne fonctionne pas si la pdale du frein est enfonce

Lanti-dmarreur (optionne et peut tre programm en mode automatique ou manue )

Le coupe-dmarreur empche le vhicule de dmarrer. Celui-ci sactive automatiquement 60 sec.
aprs tre dsarm (en mode AUTO) quelques soient les conditions. Pour le dsarmer, pousser brivement le bouton UNLOCK / DISARM de la tlcommande et dmarrer avec la cl immdiatement
Mode Va et / Contournement durgence (Override)
Pour enlever lanti-dmarreur ou arrter lalarme en cas de perte ou du mauvais fonctionnement de la
tlcommande :
a) tourner la cl de contact la position ON (position avant le dmarrage)
b) immdiatement (en moins de 6 sec)
1- pousser et relcher le bouton poussoir de contournement (demandez votre installateur de
vous montrer son emplacement dans lauto)
2- OU pousser et relcher la pdale de frein 6 fois ou plus ( si cette option est choisie )
3- le klaxon ou la sirne sera mis hors fonction et le tmoin lumineux restera allum (constant)
pendant 5 sec et steindra pour une autre 5 sec et ainsi de suite. Lanti-dmarreur et lalarme
sont mis hors dusage. Procurer une nouvelle tlcommande dans le plus bref dlai
IMPORTANT : Pour remettre le systme en marche, rpter les procdures a) et b) dcrites ci-haut. Le
tmoin lumineux recommencera clignoter intervalle rgulier et deux piaulements (si install) se font
entendre pour confirmer que le systme est de nouveau en fonction

Transmission Manuelle

ATTENTION

Le dmarreur distance pour transmission manue e ne survei e pas a position du evier de vitesse qui soit

au neutre ou non. I est ncessaire de aisser toujours e evier de vitesse au neutre et dengager
e frein de stationnement avant de quitter e vhicu e en tout temps avec intention ou non
damorcer es procdures de dmarrage distance. Le manufacturier ne peut tre tenu responsab e des consquences rsu tant de uti isation contraire aux recommandations dcrites
ci-hautes, de a ng igence de a part de uti isateur ou de insta ation non conforme aux instructions du fabricant.

Mode de Rservation de Dmarrage pour Transmission Manue e Seu ement

Les tapes suivantes sont ncessaires pour mettre en marche le dmarrage distance dans un vhicule muni dune transmission manuelle :
1- Tout en laissant le moteur en marche, mettre le levier de vitesse en position Neutre, engager e
frein de stationnement
2- Appuyer brivement le bouton START / STOP de la tlcommande, les portes se dbarrent* les
feux de position sallument et restent allums
3- Retirer la cl du contact, le moteur reste toujours en marche
4- Sortir du vhicule et ds que la porte est ferme, le moteur devrait sarrter automatiquement, les
portes lectriques se verrouillent * avec une confirmation sonore du klaxon ou de la sirne*
5- Si en fermant la porte, le moteur continue de tourner, appuyer sur le mme bouton START / STOP
pour arrter le moteur. Faites vrifier le systme par votre installateur le plus tt possible car le
dmarrage distance est temporairement hors fonction
6- Ds que la porte est de nouveau r-ouverte aprs ltape 4, le dmarrage distance est automatiquement annul. Pour initier de nouveau ce mode, refaites les tapes 1 4 ci hauts
Important : Lorsque les feux de position clignotent 4 fois quand le bouton START / STOP est enfonc,
refaire les tapes 1 4

However, the remote start function will be cancelled if a door is opened after step 4 has been complete. Once cancelled, to re-initiate the remote start function:
- Start the vehicle with the key
- Repeat above step 1 to 4
Important When trying to remote start the vehicle and the car parking lights flashes 4 times without
starting, repeat steps 1 to 4

The following sequences must be performed in order to remote start the vehicle equipped with a
manual transmission (applicable for Turbo as well):
1 - While the engine is running, leave the gear shift in Neutral, apply the parking brake, remove foot
from brake pedal
2 - Press momentarily the START button of the transmitter, parking light will turn and stay On, doors
will unlock
3 - Remove the key, engine will remain running
4 - Exit the vehicle, close the door, engine will then shut off with 1 chirp (if installed), door will lock &
alarm is engaged automatically after 6 seconds (if installed). The vehicle can now be safely remote
started

Reservation Mode for Manua Transmission On y

! WARNING !
The remote starter for manua transmission does not monitor the position of the gear shift. It
requires the user of the vehic e equipped with this remote starter for manua transmission to activate the parding brade or the hand brade and eave the gear shift in the Neutra Position At A
Time before eaving the vehic e even when he or she does not intend to remote start the vehic e.
The Manufacturer wi not be iab e for any consequences resu ted from Misuse, Neg igence or
Improper insta ation.

Manual Transmission
To reset the system, repeat step a and b. You will hear 2 chirps and / or 2 parking flash to confirm. The
LED will start flashing slowly and the system is back in the normal operation
In the case of lost or malfunction of the transmitter, use this mode to bypass or override the alarm or
the starter kill function.
a) turn the key to the Run (On) position
b) immediately within 6 sec :

1 - Press and release the override button. You will hear 1 chirp and /or one parking flash to
confirm (if installed)

2 - OR Push and release the brake pedal at least or more than 6 times if that option is chosen
c) LED will stay On for 5 sec and Off for 5 sec continuously
Start with the key as usual. System is temporary suspended

Va et Mode / Override

(optiona and se ectab e in Auto or Manua mode)

Car starter will not work when the starter kill is in function. After disarming, the system will re-arm
automatically within 60 seconds (in Auto mode) except if the car is started prior to the 60 seconds. To
disarm, press once the UNLOCK button of the transmitter and start the vehicle

Starter Ki

If you want to keep the engine running & the accessories working (heater, air conditioner) for a short
time when youre not in the vehicle, proceed as follow:
Before shut the engine off:
1 - Press once START button
2 - Remove the key from the ignition. The engine will stay running
3 - Open and close the door. Arm & lock your vehicle with your transmitter (if installed) or with your
key. The engine will keep running for a maximum of 20 minutes
