Materials-Muench/GGH Goa (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 50g, 60m per skein): 3 skeins 10 Hot Pink

(A), 3 skeins 35 Barbie Pink (B), 3 skeins 03 White (C), & One yard preshrunk cotton flannel (optional). U.S. size 10 24" circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge. Tapestry needles, sewing needle and thread, & stitch markers. Finished size: 30-1/2"x31-1/2" Note: Remember that many yarns are seasonal and could be discontinued. If the specific yarn called for is not available, purchase a substitution yarn that comes closest to the specified gauge in your pattern. And be sure to make that all-important swatch to see whether the yarn works for your particular pattern. Gauge: 13 sts and 20 rows = 4" on in Stockingette Stitch on size 10 needles Cast On 99 stitches with yarn A & Knit the first 3 rows. Begin Chart: K3, work across Heart Chart three times, working row 1 as a right side (knit) row, K3. Continue in this manner, knitting the first and last 3 sts of every row, until you have completed the chart. Change to B work chart in the same manner, then do the same with C. After completing chart in C, knit 4 rows, then BO. Finishing: Work in ends and block blanket to measurements. Optional lining 1. Cut fabric to measure 30-1/2"x31-1/2". 2. If you have a serger, serge the edges. (This step is optional but not required.) 3. Fold under fabric edges 1/2" all the way around and press. 4. Pin the fabric to the wrong side of the blanket and hand-stitch in place. Tip: If you find that you have difficulty maintaining even tension as you work the blanket (not uncommon when working with a bulky cotton yarn), just wash and dry the blanket according to the label specifications, and you will find that the tension evens itself out beautifully.
