Seva Bharathi established in 1984 has channelizing their effort into an organized movement to
improve the living standards of the poor, especially the slum-dwellers and inhabitants of remote
villages.
Please see below details of activities under Seva Bharathi, Western Andhra Pradesh in the year

MEDICAL CAMPS

Free Homeo Medical Camps thrice a week (Mon 4:30-6 pm, Wed 4:30-6 pm, Fri 9:3011 am) at Sewa Bharathi Office, Kachiguda, Hyderabad.
For the past 15 years Diabetic camp has been run by specialist Dr.Modi on first Thursday
of every month from 7am to 8.30am at Sewa Bharathi, Hyderabad office. Every month
About 60 patients get benefited from this camp.

FREE STUDY CENTERS


Study centers are organized in 19 slums in Secunderabad area. About 380 poor students from
Government high schools are provided guidance and right environment to study at these centers.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CENTERS (KISHORI VIKAS KENDRAS)
Seva Bharathi has been conducting these centers in 20 slums in Hyderabad and 20 villages in
Rangareddy district. About 15 to 20 high school girl students are trained at each center in
education, personality development, and vocational training.
REHABILITATION ACTIVITIES IN FLOODS (2009) AFFECTED AREAS

1. Kutkanoor : Community hall constructed and inaugurated on 12th Aug 2011. Bala
samskara kendra (value education center) is run with 40 students
2. Korivipaadu: Free tuition center (25 students)

4. Rajoli: Tuition center (30 students) and training center for tailoring
5. Madhuru: Bala samskara kendra and Free tuition center

MONTHLY REPORT FOR 2011-12


APRIL: A free coaching camp for polytechnic entrance test was organized for 20 days at Mahboob
College, Secunderabad. About 227 students including 80 girls were taught Mathematics and Science
by 9 experienced teachers.
MAY: Sri Annapurnamma Affection home started with 10 students on May 11th, 2011 at Produtur,
Kadapa district.
JUNE: June 26-27 training program was organized for Secretaries, Presidents and Officers of
affection homes and other projects run in and around Moulali at Vatsalya sindhu. Delegates trained by
eminent CA Sri Jitender reddy garu in maintaining accounts. And personality development session
was conducted by Sri Rajashekhar reddy garu.
JULY: A tuition center re-opened on 5th July at Seva Bharathi office for students those dwell in
Kachiguda slums.
AUGUST: National organizing secretary Sri Suderlakshmanji visited our hostels during August 25 to
29 and guided volunteers to improve values in Seva.
SEPTEMBER: New committee members were elected on 25th in General Body Meeting

OCTOBER: Blood donation camp was organized on 1st Oct at Seva Bharathi office. 25 participants
including 8 ladies donated blood. On October 14th free Homeo medical camp has been launched
which is conducted thrice a week. About 20 poor and slum dwelling patients serviced through each
camp by Dr.Krishnamurthy and Dr.Ramachandra Reddy.
NOVEMBER: New City Chapter Committee formed to extend Seva Bharathi activities in Hyderabad .

Through this committee mobile medical services have been provided to 6 slums in Hyderabad.
Cultural skills Training program was organized November 6-9 at RVK Annojiguda R.R dist. Totally
147 trainees from 20 hostels, 4 schools, 25 tuition centers, 40 women empowerment centers, and 3
women cooperative groups participated in this camp. They were trained in folk songs, dance, and
dandiya.
Yoga training camp was organized from Nov 10 to 13 at Sharadadham, Bandlaguda. 27 trainees were
guided by eminent Yoga shikshak Sri A.R.Ramaswamy garu through this camp.
JANUARY: On 22nd January, 15 people donated blood on the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra
bose birth anniversary.
MARCH: On 23rd March, training program was organized by CA Sri Jithender reddy garu. Office
bearers and coordinators of several projects were trained in maintaining account. 53 Children from 12
Affection homes performed very good in SSC examinations - 2 students got 9.8 grade and 4 got 9.7
grade.
