OUTGOING CHAIRPERSONS MESSAGE

National Treasurer Tr. Dhruv, Area Chairperson Cr. Roli Gupta, Area Chairman Tr. Aseem,
Honorary Circlers, Sq. legs, Fellow Circlers, Tablers, and friends.
I welcome you all to the 12th Annual General Meeting of Kanpur Heritage Ladies Circle-88
I find this a difficult speech to start When you have come to the end of any experience, there
is always a mixture of emotions relief that responsibilities are coming to an end, sadness that
what you've come to enjoy will no longer be there for you. But also excitement in taking
what has been learned in the past year, and applying that to what is to come.
And this year I feel I have learnt a lot.
My predecessor, Cr. Anushree, who had done some amazing work, had passed on the baton to
me, with a lot of responsibility and with a challenge to maintain the high standards. It was a
roller coaster ride!!. It makes me now realize the amount of patience, team work & dedication
needed to maintain the high standards of our Circle. Luckily I have got support of all my fellow
Circlers, my Hon. Circler's and all of them have worked with me as a team.
Keeping my speech short, it is time for thank you's. I apologize in advance for any names I may
have left out!
A big thanks to all my floor circlers for believing in me and being my side throughout the year.
The Heritage of Kanpur Heritage Ladies Circle 88, our dear Hon. Circler's, have as always
been the pillar of strength of our Circle. Their unending support and guidance to us is
something that has always and will drive us in a positive and forward direction. KHRT125 has
always played a vital role in our success. I would like to thank Chairman Tr. Moriya, and each
and every Tabler of KHRT125 for the support they have given us. A special thanks to my
entire team, especially my secretary, who have worked with me throughout the year.
As I hand over this coveted post to Cr. Gunjan, I wish the incoming team a successful year
ahead. I also wish Tr. Kapil and his incoming team a successful year. My heartiest
congratulations to all the new tablers and circlers, who are attending their first AGM.
To close, I would like to thank my entire family for helping me get through the year. Special
thanks to my dear husband Rishabh and both my daughters who have given me unconditional
support throughout my tenure as chairperson. Without their support and support of all of you, I
could have not been standing here with my head high.
Finally Abhi to Party Shuroo Hui Hai
REALLY GREATFUL FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY!
Thank you,
Cr. Pooja Jain

Literacy Day
Rs. 47500/-

We at KHLC have worked towards providing infrastructure facilities at our Schools. It's time now we
provide the students with quality education and fulfil their requirements in terms of basic school
needs. In this regard We felt very blessed to be part of Ladies Circle India who have this brilliant
"School bags" scheme. So we ordered 425 "School bags" through Regalia, for students of one of our
FTE School "RT Gaya Prasad School at Bithoor.
We all thought and couldn't come up with a better day than the "World Literacy Day" for this project.
Though it was raining very heavily that day but it just couldn't stop us from our goal of distributing
Bags to those kids. Early morning we went there and distributed the bags. We have always tried to
provide our schools with whatever they want. It is always a pleasure to do such community service and
see a smile on Children's faces.

Donation of Furniture at CSA Campus School

After a highly successful Community service activity at the CSA Campus Jr High School where the entire
school was renovated from top to bottom, we came upon the problem that the school did not have
any furniture that could be used by the children in their newly refurbished classrooms.
Quick solution was required as the school was supposed to re-open in July and we didnt have much
time. A decision was taken at one of our table meetings and the work was given a green signal. The
actual requirement was estimated along with the school staff and estimates were immediately taken
from a few carpentry contactors. Soon the best rates were finalized and work started.
The material used was top notch with mica being used to cover all the tables instead of just a coat of
paint. The mica was procured from Century, one of the best companies making mica sheets in India.
The wooden portions were given a coat of prime, sanded and painted with enamel to ensure a long
life. All the furniture is with rounded edges so as to make them safe for use by the children.
We also added a computer system to the computer lab. We hope that this will help in imparting the
much needed knowledge about computers and their usage amongst the children studying at this
school.
Finally we are thankful to the Round Table India Foundation for helping us in funding this entire
project. Without their support we could not dream of doing such a good job and use the kind of top
notch material used.
Cheers!!!

TEACHERS DAY WITH LC 88

The mediocre teacher tells. The good
teacher explains. The superior teacher
demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.
we can be rest assured that we have a set
of great teachers working tirelessly day in and day out at our three FTE project schools in Kanpur. The
dedication of these teachers is remarkable for they are working in less than optimum conditions to
ensure that the underprivileged children in these rural
areas are not deprived of a standard education.
Every year we at LC 88 have been arranging special
events and celebrations for the students in our FTE
schools but unknowingly we were neglecting the very
important facet of our schools- the teachers. This year we
decided to undo this wrong and a special day for all our
teachers was on the cards. There are more than three
dozen teachers working with us in our schools,
The projects convener Tr Nihir took the entire
responsibility of the event on himself. Special gifts were
arranged for all the teachers and we reached the school early morning of September 5th. All the teachers
had assembled in one school and it was a nice little gathering. After a few inspirational speeches the
gifts were handed over to the beaming teachers. The look of gratitude on their faces was so imminent
that we could not help feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. After the gifts were distributed all the teachers
and staff had a hearty breakfast that was also arranged by us.
I would also like to thank our Sq Leg Anurag Lohia for graciously sponsoring the entire event and the
gifts. With such support from our past tablers we cannot go wrong in our endeavours!!!
A wonderful day and a heart-warming event dedicated to the hard working teachers of our FTE Schools.

Kitchen Utensils for the new hostel Block
Kanpur Heritage Round Table 125 and Kanpur
Heritage Ladies Circle 88 is closely associated
with the Jyoti Badhir School for Hearing and
speech Impaired children. This wonderful
institution is doing a great job in the education
of these children with special needs. Their
special vocational training section gives these
students the requisite training to be absorbed
into the main stream after completing their
basic education.
When Mr Dikshit from Jyoti Badhir informed
us about the need of new utensils and other
kitchen equipment to enable them to cater to
the additional influx of students in the new
hostel block (which is supported by our Ladies
Circle!!), we didnt wait a single second and said
YES!!! The list was immediately prepared and we
once again ventured out to look for donors for this
noble project.
We were extremely lucky for we found the Good
Samaritan in the form of Tr Udhav Vaid & Cr. Shagun
who immediately agreed to sponsor the expense for
this project via his company M/s Pahlad Rai Steel
Forging works. He immediately took upon himself the
entire work of cross checking the requirements with
the list provided by the school. He also went out of his
way to ensure that only the best quality material was
purchased and no corners were cut. After all we are
dealing with children here.
We visited the school thereafter and saw the shiny
new plates, glasses and utensils being used for the first time. Seeing the children sitting at the table and

using the new utensils to have their food was an extremely satisfying sight. We also know for a fact that
these utensils will be maintained well and they will provide their functionality for a long period of time.

World Health Day- Eye

Check up Camp
RT Gaya Prasad SchoolKHRT 125 & KHLC 88
The power of sight is one
of the most important
senses given to us by
Nature. Unfortunately in
todays age of
modernization, computers,
televisions and mobiles are
making our young children
susceptible to weak
eyesight. Corrective action
on time allows us to enjoy this wonderful gift for life!!!
On the occasion of
World Health day we
wanted to do something
worthwhile for our FTE
students and what better
than an eye check up
camp by the famed
Sankara Nethralaya. The
details and logistics for
the camp were discussed
with the hospital and we
were all set for the day!
RT Gaya Prasad School

studying there and

in a day was no easy task. Sankara Nethralaya deputed a large team of doctors and technicians
for the project so that the task could be completed expediently and to ensure that no child was
left unchecked. The team reached the school nice and early and set up their paraphernalia for
the various tests. The principal and teachers were standing ready to help out and were helping
in sending the children to the designated room in an orderly fashion.
As before the staff of Sankara Nethralaya was very efficient in their work and they were
maintaining a meticulous record of each and every student. This enables them to follow up on
children who require any further investigation or treatment which is usually continued at their
hospital.
Again by the grace of God there were no serious issues detected in all the children that were
present for the camp. Minor sight deficiencies were there which will be corrected by giving
them spectacles as per their power. This will also be done free of cost by the table & Circle

31/03/2015 to 02/04/2015
This year KHRT 125 and KHLC 88 is
trying its best to provide the best
medical investigation and diagnosis
facilities to our FTE school students.
After a successful dental and eye
check-up camp at RT
Sarvesad Guru School
we completed the cycle
with an all-round general
health check up.
Parameters such as the
height and weight of
each student were
recorded and deficiencies
if any were calculated
using a software that corelates the height and
weight with age. After
the physical
measurements the
doctors did a thorough
medical examination.
The students were also
asked about their food
and sleep habits.
All the data was collated and students with any major ailments were sorted and the diagnosis duly
informed to the school authorities as well as their parents. Options for medical treatment are also
provided but completely at the discretion of the parents/guardians.

KHLC 88 & KHRT 125 is of the firm belief that simply building schools does not ensure that good
education is being imparted. Continuing with our efforts to improve and maintain the quality of
education being imparted in our FTE schools we have started the initiative of conducting Parents
Teachers meetings at regular intervals.
We are trying to involve the parents in the education system of which their wards are a part of. The first
such meeting was conducted on a Sunday to ensure participation of maximum number of parents. We
had to choose a Sunday because most of the parents are working and cannot afford to take leave to
attend such a meeting.
Tr. Moriya Philip, Cr Shalika Cr. Pooja, Tr. Nihir first explained the concept of a Parents Teachers
meeting and how it will help in improving the education of the children. Through a lengthy interactive
session we managed to instill in their minds the need and importance of these kinds of meetings. The
parents were very happy with this initiative and even though they are from a rural background they
mighty well understood how these initiatives will help in building a brighter future for their children.
We also got a positive feedback about the academic diaries that we had distributed a few days back. To
the uninitiated we again explained the functioning of the diary and how it is to be used as a tool of
communication.
It was a great experience going about this meeting and with each such step we get to feel that our small
efforts will surely help the student and teachers of our schools to improve the education system!!!

This World Disability Day we at Kanpur Heritage

Ladies Circle 88 & Kanpur Heritage Round Table
125 organised a Round Table Inter School
Athletics Meet on 2nd and 3rd December 2014.
The athletics meet had participation of all the
Round Table Schools of KHLC 88 & KHRT 125.
The deaf and dumb students of Jyoti Bhadir which
is a group school, also took part in this athletics
meet. It was to make them feel that they are in no
way less than anyone else. After all they will have
to compete with everyone in the years to come,
then why not start today?
Four Schools will be participating in the event.
Round Table Phool Singh Memorial School
Round Table Gaya Prasad School
Rpund Table Sarva Sad Guru School
Jyoti Bhadir School
There are a total of 1800 students in all our four
schools. There are about 58 events for the
children to participate in. We saw more than 500
students participating. The events are distributed
in three age categories with further divisions for
boys and girls. This year we even saw some
special events for the teachers to participate in.
The athletics meet stared at 9:00 AM on 2nd
December with heats really heating up
throughout the day. By evening the results of the
events started coming in. Our generous Sq. Leg

Annual Report 2014-15

Vishal Garg on hearing about the Athletics meet told us to arrange for lunch for all the students and
teachers. Sq. Leg Vishal Garg has always extended his helping hand to Round Table India without even
asking him. Thank you Vishal Bhaiya for your unrelenting support!

On 3rd the meet carried on with great enthusiasm from all schools. The competitive spirit and the
enthusiasm on their faces was a sight to be seen. It was such a joy to watch them perform and put their
entire effort into winning the event.
Now came the part everyone was waiting for, the prize distribution ceremony. This year we decided to
give the students medals as it is a special feeling to wear the medal around your neck!!!
The children were so excited to get their medals and certificates. The main take aways for them were
self-confidence and a sense of achievement was what we were able to make them experience.
The overall Runners up Trophy went to Round Table Sarva Sad Guru School. And the Best School
Trophy went to Jyoti Bhadir Vidyalya (the deaf and dumb students). Yes, you read it right. The very
students for whom a special day is celebrated in the form of World Disability Day have proven that
they are only different in a certain way but are equally and even more talented than most of us when it
comes to the point of proving their mettle in the sports field.

This made us think, should we every year think of doing something different for our disabled friends or
should we celebrate the equality in different abilities by the way of pitching everyone on a equal
platform and to continue having our annual Round Table Athletics meet every year on World
Disability Day A definite point to ponder upon

Essay Writing Competition-RTGP

Writing is one of the best methods through which one can express himself. Sometimes thoughts are
easier converted to
words rather than
speech. This is clearly
evident from our
experience at our FTE
project schools. We
see that the students
who are hesitant and
shy in speaking in
front of strangers have
no qualms when it
comes to putting pen
on paper and
expressing their
thoughts. To keep the
creative juices running
we at KHLC 88 keep conducting events which gives these children a chance to come out of their regular
routines and do something different and creative.
We conducted an Essay Writing
competition at Round Table Gaya
Prasad Memorial School on 28th
February 2015. The topic for the
essay was My School. The
students were divided into two
groups according to their age. We
were extremely fortunate to have
with us on this day the National
Table Talk Editor Tr Niraj Dhote.
He enthusiastically accompanied
us to the school and was literally
amazed at the quality of the
essays that he got to read over
there.

A small prize distribution ceremony was also held with Tr Niraj,Round Table Area Chairman Tr Dhruv
and Area Vice Chairman Tr Aseem handing dout the prizes to the best essays in both the groups. We are
extremely thankful to Tr Dheeraj, Secretary Kanpur Cosmopolitan Round Table 111, for joining and
supporting us for the event.
We believe that conducting such events at regular intervals helps in the overall development of the child
and we are assured of a much better quality of education. These exercises also keeps the school
management and staff updated and on their toes as it entails management and co-ordination for any
event to be successful.

believes that just constructing and
handing
over
schools
and
classrooms is not enough to ensure
proper education is being imparted
to children; these schools have to
be cared for and looked after so
that it can continue being the solid
foundation of education for children of many generations to come.
On this firm belief we keep a constant vigil on the assets that we have created. Proper maintenance and
upkeep is our mantra and we ensure that the school management does not get careless and leave the
building and facilities neglected. Under this exercise we identified that one of our school buildings,
Round Table Sarvesad Guru School, badly needed a fresh coat of paint.
Once the project was approved in one of our business meetings the work took off on war footing. The
contractor was finalized and material procured. He was given a fixed deadline before which he had to
complete the work. The complete exterior as well as interiors of the class rooms were painted. The
doors and windows were also properly cleaned and a fresh coat of paint was applied. There were
frequent inspection visits by tablers & Circlers to see the pace and quality of the work being done.
Finally the icing on the cake was a brand new vinyl logo of Round Table India on top of the school
building. A fresh coat of paint gives a new lease of life to any building and this was no different. Even
we had difficulty in recognizing the school as it looked so different!!! The children studying there were
extremely happy that the whitewashing had been done as all the classrooms became bright and felt
bigger which made it conducive to the creation of a better learning atmosphere.

Nepal when the earthquake shook the
entire country and brought the whole
country to a standstill. The once
majestic monuments and buildings now
lie in miserable heaps of rubble and
God only knows how many of our
neighbours actually perished in this
calamity.
As soon as disaster struck Round Table
India swung into action and started
steps to support the tablers of Round
Table Nepal in their feverish
endeavours to provide help to the
affected. Help started pouring in from
tables across the country in cash as
well as kind and the relief work was set
into motion. Trucks were being sent from Calcutta and
Delhi and thus they were the collection points of all
material that was being provided by tables across the
country.
We at Kanpur Heritage RT 125 & KHLC 88 also were
deeply moved by the plight of the people of Nepal and
wanted to help out in whatever small way we could.
The 125 tablers & KHLC 88 Circlers swing into motion
and we started short listing items that could be arranged
at short notice and which would actually come in handy
at Ground Zero. We finally decided to send Tarpaulins
and Medicines as they seemed to be the best bet at the
moment.

Annual Report 2014-15

Page Number-59

Tr Shashank Agarwal took up the responsibility of arranging for the Tarps and within a day or two we
had 500 pieces ready for dispatch. Tr Abhishek Kapoor went ahead and arranged boxes of medicines as
per the list provided by RTI. All the boxes were neatly packed and labelled so as to help the doctors
working in the field to perform their duties efficiently. Tr Yashwin Khurana pitched in with arranging
for a few hundred pieces of footwear. At the last moment we got some help from a garment
manufacturer in Kanpur and they gave us about 500 articles of clothing that we felt would definitely be
helpful for the people who had lost everything when their homes collapsed.
All this material was packed into a truck and sent onwards to Delhi where it joined a convoy of trucks
being managed by the Delhi tables which were ready to move to Nepal. We are really thankful to the
tablers in the Delhi NCR who co-ordinated the whole effort and enabled tables like ours to do our bit to
help Nepal and its people. We sincerely hope that whatever little we could do reaches the right people
and provides them with some much need succour in this time of pain and suffering.

Kanpur RT 125 along with LC 88: Distribution of Diaries at FTE Schools

In our endeavour to improve the quality of education at our FTE schools our Cr. Shalika came up with
the innovative idea of getting school diaries made for the students.
We all know how important a role these little white books play in the proper academic development of
school students. So even though we were talking about schools in the proper rural heartland we decided
to go ahead with this exercise. We believe that it is small steps like this that will go on and make a
difference in the quality of education. Small things make a big difference right!!!!
To start off we decided to do this as a pilot project at one of our schools Round Table Gaya Prasad
school. So about 600 diaries were printed and distributed to the kids at RTGP. The diaries carry all the
necessary relevant information such as the annual calendar, the national anthem, the school information
etc.
Hopefully this diary will prove to be the missing link of communication between the school and the
parents.

Santa Claus is coming to Town!!!!
Someone has very rightly said that the feeling of Giving is much more rewarding and satisfying than the
pleasure of receiving something!!
KHLC 88 & KHRT 125 tries to adapt this whenever possible and we thought what better way of
Ushering in the New Year than by spreading a little cheer and happiness.
As a joint Christmas and New Year treat we delivered a cart load of yummy fruit cakes and other
goodies like maggi and chips to the Missionaries of Charity at Kanpur. They operate an orphanage
called Sishu Bhawan and a destitute home called Snehalaya. The cakes were delivered on the 1st of
January and believe me when I say that the look on the faces of the little toddlers, when they ate the
cake, was the best New Year gift that we could ever get.
A very small gesture from our part but the warmth and love that this spreads amongst the little kids and
the old inmates is unfathomable. What better way to escape the winter chill!!!

When our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi emphasised the importance of cleanliness and laid out a
road map to go about it the entire country got into action. What better day than 2nd October to mark the
advent of such a noble national initiative. Going by the principles of our beloved Father of the Nation
Gandhiji, Circlers of LC 88 along with the tablers of KHRT 125 also decided to do their bit.
We identified a site in the industrial area of Panki with the support of Tr Shashank Agarwal. Proper
planning was done and all implements required for the campaign were readied.
The tablers got into action early in the morning and got together at the designated work site. Along with
help and support from the local factory workers and people living nearby the park the work started in
earnest. Age old dumps of rubble and garbage were cleared from the site with the help of municipal
workers and their equipment.
After a few hours of hard work the whole site looked spick and span. It was a sight to see and a feeling
to be cherished what our efforts had resulted in. That day we took a solemn oath that we at LC 88 &
KHRT 125 will continue to support the Clean India Initiative and try and do our bit to keep our city
clean.

It is a great feeling when corporate come forward to support the Round Table India movement. We had
the opportunity to experience another such instance at Kanpur Heritage Round Table along with Kanpur
Heritage Ladies Circle when one of the large flour mills in our city got in touch with us to help with
some flour distribution for the needy.
We identified a destitute home and shared the details with the company. The company officials visited
the home and verified the details provided and agreed to a long term tie up. As per the details the
destitute home needs approximately 600 kilograms of flour each month to feed all the members. The
flour mill M/s S.R industries readily agreed to provide the flour to the tune of 600 kilograms every
month.
We are indeed lucky when corporates display a philanthropic state of mind and reach out to serve the
need through social organisations such as ours. We are extremely thankful to S.R Industries for the big
heartedness and willingness to serve the society.

Health Checkup Camp- Yashraj Public School

It is a known fact that illness amongst children is growing exponentially across India and timely
identification and diagnosis of the ailment is the only sure shot way of leading a healthy life. The
privileged sections of the society can bear the prohibitive costs of basic treatment but what do the less
fortunate do? The only way out is preventing or getting to know about the illness before it gets too late.
Thus going by the adage Prevention is better than cure we at Kanpur Heritage Ladies Circle 88 &
Kanpur Heritage Round Table 125 along with Yashraj Public school decided to conduct a mega Health
Check up camp on 15th February
We were highly fortunate to get the support of the Indian Association of Paediatrics for the camp as it
ensured the best doctors of the city were available. The camp had a comprehensive panel of doctors
covering areas such as sight, dental, general check up as well as necessary immunizations. The target
children were between the age group of 2-12 years as it is considered as the most vulnerable age group.
To ensure that the camp had a good turnout we took a lot of pains to publicise the event. We tied up
with the leading Hindi Daily of the nation Dainik Jagran as the media partner. All other leading dailies
of the city were specially invited to a press conference 2 days before the final camp. Hundreds of
banners and posters were put up in the targeted areas of Kanpur to increase visibility and knowledge
about the camp. A special team consisting of Tablers, circlers and staff from Yashraj Public School
personally visited scores of schools in the area to spread word about the camp. We went to specific
school where we expected to find more children who could actually benefit from the camp.
On the day of the camp we were ready nice and early. All our efforts paid off because as soon as we
opened the doors a multitude of children turned up for the check up. A senior IPS officer graced the
occasion and inaugurated the camp. The doctors didnt get a breather the whole day as the kids just kept
pouring in. All our apprehensions that the turnout would be less because of the India Pakistan match
were set aside in an instant!!!!
Our media partners Dainik Jagran and Red FM ensured that the event had full coverage across the
various channels to enable maximum children to benefit from the camp. The efforts of the support staff
at Yashraj Public school were outstanding and they made life easier for the doctors by conducting the
crowds in an orderly fashion. As per a rough count approximately 800-1000

children were attended to by the panel of doctors. We at KHRT 125 and KHLC 88 were highly

"Chai Pe Charcha - Breakfast at Cr. Anushree's Place"

It was 15th August, the morning was cloudy

but we all were feeling bright as we had a busy
day ahead as have to go to all our four Schools
for Flag hoisting and distribution of sweet
packets to all the 1800 children there. To kick
start our day with super energy Cr. Anushree
has been kind to treat us with breakfast.
She had served us a lavish spread of breakfast
from "hot jalebis" and "kachoris" to mouth
watering "samosas" and above all the famous
"Anushree's Sweet Indulgences". How can we
all sit together at the start of our magical years
and not have our "Chai Pe Charcha". So after
our breakfast, tea and discussions we move
forward for our next target "Flag Hoisting" at
our four schools.
Someone has rightly said that armies march
on their stomachs, so the stuffed army of
Tablers and Circlers marched on towards
Bithoor, inorder to ensure that the flag
hoisting ceremony takes place timely at all
four schools.

RUN- IN WITH NVP

The Area 8 AGM was afoot and i was pretty
sad about giving it a miss this year. But just a
day before everybody was to start for
Khajuraho (venue for the AAGM), i was
informed by my table Chairman Tr Moriya that
NVP Suman and LCI NVP Cr Masuma were
driving down to Khajuraho from Lucknow
Airport. It being a very long drive and the
terrain hardly what one would call hospitable, we decided to ambush them en route and have them stop
over for lunch at Kanpur. Sq Leg Rajprit Singh and HT Hardeep gave their assent to join in along with
Cr Poojan, Cr Sonia and Cr Rashmi.
The next day, their flight was scheduled to
touch down at Lucknow at 10.30 a.m and sure
enough it was on time .They had just made it
out of the airport and were on their way. After
pleasantries were exchanged, he insisted that
the stop over for Lunch be very brief as they
had a long way to go. We zeroed in on a
restaurant serving local delicacies just on the
outskirts of the city so that they wouldnt have
to take much of a detour. The route was
explained to the driver and sure enough the
duos landed up at Pandits restaurant dot on
time and were accorded a warm welcome.

We tucked into traditional Thaalis as the main course and for desserts had yummy Kheer. An hour had
flown by while we were talking nineteen to the dozen!! We realized that these guys should get a move
on and so bid a very reluctant bye but not before ensuring that Kanpurs famous laddoos and some other
refreshments were stored in their car. A good time was had by all and yet another chapter was added to
the treasure trove of beautiful memories that this movement has to offer.

DUM MAARO DUM WITH KHRT-125 & LC-88

It is with some sadness and regret that I write this report on the social held at Trance Night club (Royal
Cliff Hotel) on the 13th Sep, 2014. After all, who wouldn't be upset that the revelry and the party
madness got over in just a night; we would all have wanted the party to go on for longer, right?
So let me share the juicy details of the party with everybody. Other than the foot stomping trance and
EDM there were multi-coloured laser strobes flashing all across the room. All the essential elements of
a rave party were nicely arranged across the room (dummies of course!!!!) The smoke machines were
busy belching out oodles of smoke to complete the atmosphere for the party. Hats off to the host for the
detailing and the props arranged for the party. From the wide range of beads, necklaces, bracelets and
headbands to the exquisitely detailed artificial tattoos, the party was rocking to the hilt.
All the gents in their printed shirts were looking dandy but still were no match for the all the lovely
ladies in their floral dresses!!!
As usual the food at Royal Cliff was scrumptious and all were seen busy hogging while tapping to the
beats.
Well, as they say, all good things must come to an end...sometime and with great happiness and
appreciation, we all thank Tr Rishabh Jain, the outgoing chairman for KHRT 125, for the wonderful
party, music and the gob smacking food. It was truly a night to remember.
Here's to looking forward to similar times ahead in the warm company of the fun loving tablers &
Circlers of KHRT 125...& LC-88 HEERS!!!

Diwali is a time for merrymaking;
the festival of lights brings with it
that time of the year that all closet
gamblers wait for. Teen Patti fever
is at its peak and there are cards
parties galore. Our Sq Leg's also
decided to host a cards party social
at Sq Leg Hardeep's residence on
22nd October, just the evening
before Diwali.
The terrace was decorated with
lights, earthen diya's and candles.
Diwali greetings were flying thick and fast through the air. The absolutely perfect weather with an ever
so slight nip in the air completed the setting for the evening. A swing in one corner provided a cozy spot
to gossip mongers while a huge platform with low seating was the ladies 'adda'. The Tablers
comfortably ensconced themselves at the
high tables where lip smacking snacks
were constantly being served. It was
decadence at its best !
Winning and losing didn't really matter as
everybody was having a fabulous time
bonding over cards. A few experienced Sq
Legs took it upon themselves to entertain
the ladies by donning the role of
croupier's. The boys from Vegas would
have surely been proud !!
Friendly banter kept everybody going till
the wee hours of the morning. The casino
finally wound up around 5.30 in the
morning but not before we enjoyed a
delicious buffet spread. Fellowship and bonding at its best with the festival spirit adding to the mix.

TABULA RASA :- NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS
Tabula Rasa ~ all knowledge comes from experience or perception. And given that everybody is eager
to know how the (new) year will unfold, we KHLC and KHRT decided to have a new years eve bash to
ensure or rather assure each other that 2015 will be full of masti, magic n more!
Plans for the party were made at the 11th hour, literally. After a lot of deliberations, the venue chosen
was the pool side of Hotel Royal Cliff and since we have the luxury of the hotel promoters being part of
the family, we were looking forward to being pampered silly. And Sq Leg Hardeep and the chief
organizer of the party Tr Rishabh, did not disappoint us. The arrangements were top notch- open skies, a
crackling bon fire, well stocked bar and mouth watering array of snacks. And of course, we had our DJ
for the evening, yours truly, providing just the right blend of music to enliven the proceedings.
Just as the party was getting into overdrive mode, around 11.30 pm, the skies opened up and we got a
fair bit of drizzle. But we were unperturbed, because Hardeep had provided for covered seating too in
view of this eventuality. The bon fire did fizzle out for a while, but not the tempo of the party. No
sir....all of us Tablers, Ladies, Sq Legs and Circlers sang, danced and had a fultoo mast time. After a
brief spell, the drizzle ended and the bon fire was crackling with renewed vigour. The merrymaking
continued till the wee hours of the morning (much to the chagrin of the people next door).
And so 2014 went by and we welcomed 2015 with a flourish a long evening full of fun, camaraderie
and masti. If this experience is anything to go by, we are sure to have a rocking 2015.....Happy New
Year!

Vaid, counts a wood fired oven,
amongst one of his inventions. Yes, not
only does he design these ovens but he
also manufactures them at his own
facility, as a hobby. For a long time
now, he was constantly besieged by all
of us to rustle up some of his famous lip
smacking pizza and finally the day
arrived. We were beside ourselves with
excitement on being invited by Cr
Shagun and Tr Udhav for a pizza party at their
lovely residence.
The aroma of fresh pizza baking in the oven wafted
through the air as we made our way to Udhavs den
overlooking the terrace. The oven occupied place of
pride in a corner of the terrace and the smoke gently
billowing out of the small chimney indicated that a
yummy pizza soon awaited us. A well stocked bar in
the den was the centre of activity while Tablers
grabbed their glasses and made their way to the
terrace. Meanwhile the Circlers had made
themselves comfortable inside the den and were
busy gossiping about the latest fashion trends this
winter. A small business meeting too was conducted
by our Chairman Pooja while the first of the pizzas
were baked. Man, what yummy
pizza!! The lovely weather
beautifully complimented the
scrumptious pizza and Udhav
instantly got complimented for
the awesome preparation. Other
entrees~ too were doing the
rounds as Cr Shagun took care to
ensure that everyones plate was
fully loaded all the time.

As if the Pizza werent enough, a large spread of Indian fare for the main course further awaited us and
everybody enjoyed the lip smacking food. The icing on the cake was the birthday celebration of Cr
Dona. A beautiful multilayered cake awaited once we got down to dinner. Mouthwatering desserts such
as jalebi and gulab jamun along with cake added to our gluttony. All in all, it was an evening to
remember.
Good food, fantastic ambience and superb company of friends- simply delizioso!!!

National Presidents Kanpur Visit

The President Round Table India Tr.

Deepak Manoo Menda was on a road
trip in Area 8. After having lunch in
Allahabad we started for Kanpur with
tablers from Varanasi and Allahabad
also accompanying us. All the four
tables of Kanpur had planned a joint social together and were eagerly waiting to welcome him. A great
initiative called the Area 8 Freedom drive was in progress and we were honored to host the national
President and the accompanying tablers at Kanpur
By the time we reached Kanpur it was already a bit late, so we hurriedly pushed off to the venue.
Tablers, Circlers and Square legs from all the Kanpur tables were waiting to welcome the National
President. All our tiredness disappeared as soon as we were in the company of our friends. Shortly the
meeting was convened and all the table chairman raised their respective toasts. Our very charming
President Tr. Deepak addressed the floor and his time spent with all was very motivating. After a crisp
business meeting the president pinned all the tablers present. The presidents flag was also presented to
all the Table Chairmen. It was a double honor for us to get the new Table theme and pin launched by Tr
Deepak himself. KHRT 125 chairman Tr Moriya had the privilege to pin the first pin on Deepak.
It was now time to let loose and shake to the tune of the DJ. Everyone had a rocking time with their
dancing shoes on. The mood was set
for a great party and we really enjoyed
the company of our friends visiting
from Varanasi RT 218 and Allahabad
RT 192. Everyone thanked Deepak for
his visit and we are eagerly waiting to
host him again sometime soon.
As usual the party carried on till the
wee hours of the morning and we
finally quit the merriment quite
reluctantly. A wonderful evening in the
company of great friends!!! Thats

Comedy Nights with KHLC 88 & KHRT 125
When our Cr. Sonia & HT Hardeep throws a
party it is a social with a difference!!! So
when he threw us a googly and told us that
he had invited a famous stand-up comedian,
Amit tendon, from Delhi we were not
surprised at all. Later we realized that it was
blessing in disguise coz public humiliation is
just not our cup of tea!!!!!!The gentleman
started off quite slowly and we thought
whats so great about him???!! Little did we
realize that this just the silence before the
storm. Soon he had the entire crowd in
splits. Since he was also from our part of the
country he had a pretty good idea about
thestandard excuses and stories that we
make before our women folk. And boy did
he make us squirm and suffer!!! We were all
laughing but inside we were very scared as we
could identify ourselves with each and every
little anecdote that he threw at the crowd. God
Save us all!!!!
After the verbal massacre we were as usual
treated to the superb hospitality of Royal Cliff.
The lip-smacking snacks never stopped coming.
There was a total spread that included exotics
such as shrimp and lobsters!!! The dinner
spread was again magnificent with the cuisine
from almost all corners of the
world. The deserts section was
the
most
crowded
(predictable!!!!) with the winter
chill stretching everybodys
appetite just a lil more!!!!
Whoever said that Laughter is
the best medicine surely knew
what he was talking about.

Notes :
It was a crisp winter Saturday evening , perfect for a get together and even better if the evening had
some of the best whiskies available in India in store for us. Yes friends it was a social hosted by our HT
Hardeep and his lovely wife Cr Sonia at their residence (in this case Hotel Royal Cliff!!!) in
collaboration with Chivas and Glenlivet. The evening was aptly named Whisky Winters!!!!
The setting was grand and the ambience really classy as each and every guest was welcomed personally
by the hosts. This was followed with a royal photograph with some of the charming Chivas hostesses.
The better photographs of course were those of the looks on our wives faces when we were proudly
perched on the throne for the photo-op!!!!!
The evening involved an expert sommelier from Chivas who educated the crowd about the nuances of
various whiskies and how they are supposed to be consumed. Now if every LAPD session was like this
who would mind!!!! He also enlightened us on the possibilities of using whisky for some ver interesting
cocktails, who could have imagined that even whisky could be the base for some interesting cocktails.
The snacks and the arrangements were excellent and it can be easily stated that it was some of the best
finger food we had tasted in a long time. The many bonfires added to the warmth of the evening and
soon nobody could even imagine that it was a chilly January night!!!
The presence of our square legs and the ladies was the highlights of the evening as they have always
been the defining grace at all our parties. Many of our friends from the other tables of Kanpur also
added to the merriment of the evening. As usual the dinner was scrumptious and none of us felt like
putting our plates down.
A super evening with Fellowship and LAPD rolled into one!!!

FUNDRAISING
1) Event-Name : HERITAGE DIWALI BAZAAR 2014
Fund Raised : 100000/After having done a very successful Heritage
Monsoon Bazaar last year there was no doubt
that we would be doing a bazaar fundraiser
again. The only point of discussion was the date.
After much debate over a few meetings it was
decided that we would do it on 15th October,
2014. It was decided considering the fact that it
was bang in the middle of the Diwali shopping
week.
So work started with respect to the Sponsors,
Media Partners & Stall selling. By dint of the
hard work of the Circlers & Tablers everything
was lined up in quick time, we were all ready for this
Mega Event. Numerous Hoardings and banners were
put up at prominent locations in the city. Dainik
Jagran- our print media partner- carried 2
Advertisements and Red FM- our FM partner
carried 15 spots each day for ten days prior to the
event.
The Press Conference to promote the event was
organized on 13th of October at the venue Hotel
Royal Cliff and the same was well attended by all
leading dailies of Kanpur. We got excellent coverage
in many of the leading dailies of Kanpur The press
was told about the purpose of the event,
i.e. to raise funds for our Schools. They
were really impressed by our cause.
Duties were assigned to all Tablers and
Circlers with respect to managing the
event.
Finally the day dawned and Tablers and
circlers were present at the venue at
7.00 AM. The layout was perfect
courtesy Sq leg Hardeep and his team.

swing as everybody had breakfast at the
venue, which was hosted by Tr.

from 8.30 AM. All the circlers, Tablers, Sq Legs & HTs wore white Shirts and denims as the theme for
the day.
The Chief Guest for the event was Income Tax
Commisioner Mr Davendra Shankar. He was right on
time to inaugurate the event and was impressed with
the variety of products on offer for Ladies, kids &
home dcor and was kind enough to share a word or
two with almost all the stall holders as he was taken
around. Soon, the crowd started swelling and the
hustle and bustle was to be seen to be believed. The
Bazaar saw participation of exhibitors from Kolkata,
Delhi and Lucknow apart from Kanpur.
Meanwhile the help desk was making regular
announcements for the promotion of specific stall
h
olders. Some interesting contests were also staged
such as prizes for Lady in all white attire, Lady
sporting Polka Dotted outfit, Guys / gents with
different beard, person having a postage stamp in
their wallet / purse etc. These kept the visitors also
engaged and ensured that there was never a dull
moment during the entire day.
The Bouncers at the entry ensured that no unruly
behavior took place and they also kept a watchful
eye on the swelling crowds. The Food Court was
also doing brisk business as a variety of mouthwatering cuisine was on offer for the visitors right
from Italian to Chinese to Pao Bhaji and Mughlai Kebabs.
The event wound up at 10.00 PM when we had to close the entry to the Hall, such was the rush. The
total estimated footfall was..almost 8000!! Incredible for a days work !!
Having came in at 7 in the morning we finally left well past Midnight after a super fellowship at Trance
!! A long and tiring day but also thrilling and exciting..we left content that a good fundraiser
cum huge publicity event was successfully staged once again by KHRT 125 and KHLC 88!!!

Event-Name : Renu padhna chahti hai..

Event Detail :
After the tremendous success of our last radio campaign EENTH KA JAWAB PATTHAR SE we at
KHRT 125 & KHLC 88 got another opportunity this year to publicize Round Table India. We got in
touch with Radio City and designed a Community Service, Fund Raiser and Mega Publicity event all
rolled into one.
The Event is titled Renu Padhna Chahti hai and is based on the premise that we invite radio listeners
to open up their hearts and help in the edication of an identified under privileged child in the chosen
cities. This event is being aired in the cities of Delhi and Jaipur which are part of Area 5.
The event started off with a few days of teasers and then went full flow by broadcasting the extremely
heart touching message of a young child who dreams and yearns to study and live the life of a normal
child. The radio station is running the event for 17 days and approximately 40 spots have been allotted
per day.
You have to hear the sound bite to really get the depth of the message. The campaign has been very
successful till date and we will get to know the quantum of funds raised after the culmination of the
event. All things said and done the publicity factor is growing day by day and our main motto to make
RTI a household name is one step closer to fruition.
Thanks to Tr Chirag, Area Chairman (Area 5) for all the help and support in making the event a super
duper success.

4) Event-Name : Hoarding at kanpur Nursery school

Event Detail :
Hoarding was put at Kanpur nursery school, one of the prominent locations of the city, this has really
given a good publicity to KHLC 88 and KHRT 125
It is the constant endeavor of tablers and circlers to publicize the name and cause of Round Table India
in whatever ways possible. Recently KHLC 88 has adopted a school situated in the middle of the city
called as Kanpur Nursery School. We got an opportunity to put up a large sized hoarding with the RTI
and FTE logos on the school boundary.
The school is situated in the posh Civil Lines area of Kanpur. The road has very heavy traffic as it is a
connecting road to the Kanpur Court. The location of the hoarding will ensure that a huge number of
people get to know the name and work of Round Table India.
We believe that we Tablers and Circlers should grab every opportunity that we get to spread the name
of Round Table India, irrespective of the size and scale of the initiative. Small steps will go a long way
in ensuring that slowly and steadily RTI becomes a name that is synonymous with the concept of
spreading education amongst the underprivileged.

Aditya's birthday by cutting cake and playing games

return gifts.
It was such a unique and wonderful way of
celebration and an amazing experience for all of us.
This made us think, should we every year think of
doing something for the differently abled or should
we celebrate the qualities in different abilities. In
the end I would like to thank Cr. Anushree for

AGMS AND MID TERM MEETS

Event : Area General Meeting

The 13th area AGM for RTI, area 8 and the 1st area AGM for Ladies circle India meet for area 8 was hosted by
Varanasi Round Table 196 in Khajuraho between the 22nd and 24th of August, 2014.
The festivities began during the journey to Khajuraho with the trademark "chai pe charcha" during the pit stops.
We spend the journey bonding with one another. It was a long seven hours drive and the roads were bad to the
extent that each of our bones were shaken. We reached the hotel by noon and got our reservations done. The
Tablers of VRT 196 had managed the task of registrations so smoothly that we don't have to wait.
Next up was the social, The Dirty Picture and this was a chance for the various tables to showcase their acting
chops. The acts were truly amazing and special mention has to be given to LRT136 for a fabulous show with
sound recording, costumes, makeup and stage presence of Shabhnam and her super hero Spiderman
The next day we all got to business with the AGM with some relevant motions being discussed and passed. This
was our very first Area AGM of Area 8. NVP Cr. Masuma with her gracious presence explained to us the very
essence of Circling. She conducted the first CEXT of Area 8 and what an experience it was to learn from such a
dedicated Circler the values of Circling and also what are my roles and duties as a Chairprson. All the other
chairpersons of Area 8 and our very own AVP Cr. Roli were present at this historic AGM.
The most anticipated part of the weekend had to be the COB with the new Area Chairperson Cr. Roli taking
over from Cr. Ritu of LLC84 and also the presentation of the awards. National Vice-President Cr. Masuma was
there to grace the occasion with us.
I am very proud of the fact that KHLC88 had a fantabulous show by winning the following awards : Best Secretary - Cr. Pooja Jain
Extension Trophy
The celebration party went on and on till the early morning. We all had a blast at the Area AGM "A Date with
Eight"
The next day we bid adieu to our Hosts VRT 196 and VLC129 and left for home with a bag full of awards and
more importantly a treasure chest of memories. Special thanks to AAGM convenor Vinamra and Saurabh for

Self Defence Class

18-11-2014
100

Today was a monumental day for the girls

studying in 4 schools of the quiet and
peaceful Bithoor area of Kanpur. They
were made aware of their own strength
and courage. You would ask how? It's
simple really, a self-defence training camp
organised by KHRT 125, KHLC 88 & the
Kyokushin Karate Foundation of India.
KHRT 125 & KHLC 88 has been very
proactive in helping students of the
schools Jyoti Badhir Vidyalaya, Gaya
Prasad Jr. High School, Phool SIngh
Memorial School, Sarvesad Guru Jr. High
School based in Bithoor by way of
donating school furniture, maintaining a
free state-of-the-art dental clinic with a
highly qualified doctor coming in daily.
They have also taken it upon themselves to
organise various events at these schools
such as sports day functions, Diwali
celebrations, independence day celebrations, parent & teacher meetings, School diary distributions etc.
on regular basis to enable the teachers to interact with the parents directly and many other such
activities. They also maintain the upkeep and help in running of these schools so that the children from
these rural parts have a comfortable and fun place where they can learn and educate themselves.
The Kyokushin Karate Foundation, a brain child of Sensei Vasant Singh (3rd Degree Black belt, Japan ;
Branch Chief North India), has been holding self-defence camps in various villages and rural areas of
Uttar Pradesh. The Nirbhaya incident of Delhi made us all painfully aware of how important it is for a
girl in today's day and age to be able to defend herself. While the rest were talking and debating, Sensei
Vasant decided to let his fists and kicks do the teaching. Travelling all over the state, from wherever
there was a request for a camp, he would go and take 3-10 day self-defence training sessions and show
the girls how they can defend themselves from aggressors. "Don't be afraid, you are stronger than any
molester." is his catch phrase.
Kyokushin Kaikan Karate, a martial art created and founded by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama in Japan, has
repeatedly shown the world that it's practical and useful for all situations in life for not only men but
women also. Some of the strongest practitioners of this art are women and with this knowledge to

strengthen his resolve, he has hosted a 3 day training camp at Jyoti Badhir Vidyalaya, Bithoor which is
a school for deaf and dumb students.
With over 100 girls participating from Jyoti
Badhir Vidyalaya, Gaya Prasad Jr. High
School, Phool SIngh Memorial School,
Sarvesad Guru Jr. High School, the grounds
echo with the roar of "Kiai", the traditional
karate yell of power, from the throats of these
very enthusiastic girls as they practise the
various simple but effective techniques
shown by Sensei Vasant Singh.
With hope in their eyes and a set of defence
techniques in their arms, these girls can
finally feel a sense of safety in a world which
is fast losing respect for its women.

When we got information that the Procter &

happening in Kanpur and that they wanted to
see something about the P&G Shiskha
Abhiyaan live, we knew just the thing!!!
We arranged for the principal and a few
students of our first FTE School Round Table Gaya Prasad School to appear before the huge crowd and
make a small presentation about their experience with the school. They spoke at length about how the
new school built by Round Table changed the entire scenario in their village and made getting a quality
education so much easier. Since the principal Mr Yadav has been there since the inception of the school
he could speak from his heart and real experience about
the changes that happened.
The students also spoke about the kind of education that
they are getting at RTGP and how they enjoy going to
school. There was also a question answer session in
which the students gave smart and prompt replies to the
audience. The entire group of the P&G family was left
pleasantly surprised and quite happy that their
organisation is directly or indirectly making a difference
to the lives of these underprivileged children.
After a short introduction about KHRT 125 & KHLC 88
the event was wound up. The most moving part of the
event was when all the people gathered there held lit
candles in their hand and pledged to support the P&G
Shiksha Abhiyaan!!! We are sure that the experience would encourage the P&G dealers to work harder
so as to improve sales and ensure that the P&G Shiksha Abhiyaan goes on ahead and grows in volume
over the years to come.

Circler Orientation Program (COP) and Circle Executive Training

We had our very first and historic AGM of Area 8 at Khajuraho between 22nd and 24th August
2014. This was our very first Area AGM of Area 8 and NVP Cr. Masuma was with us as the
Chief Guest.
On 23rd Morning it was a big day for us as we were going to have our AGM but before that
NVP Cr. Masuma took us to a joyful ride of being a Circler. It was indeed a great privilege for
all of us at Area 8 as she was going to conduct "Circler Orientation Program (COP). She
explained to us the meaning of "C" of Circling, thoughts, concepts of being a Circler. She
explained everything so easily as it was on her tips. The whole session was so interactive from
everybody playing games to sharing their experiences so far of being a Circler. It was a even a
greater opportunity for our very new Circlers of Varanasi as they have just entered this magical
world of Circling.
After the successful completion of COP the next step was the Circle Executive Training
Session which was a program especially for the Executive Board of the Circles. All the other
Circlers also attended it as some time in future they will also be part of Executive Boards of
their Circles. It was a great learning expereince for all of us at Executive Boards. Hats off to
Masuma and her patience as she was bombarded by our never ending queries. In all it was a
great learning expereince for all of us here at Area 8

A SPECIAL LANDMARK
1) Event-Name : HERITAGE DIWALI BAZAAR 2014
Fund Raised : Rs 100000/After having done a very successful Heritage Monsoon Bazaar last year there was no doubt that we
would be doing a bazaar fundraiser again. The only point of discussion was the date. After much debate
over a few meetings it was decided that we would do it on 15th October, 2014. It was decided
considering the fact that it was bang in the middle of the Diwali shopping week.
So work started with respect to the Sponsors, Media Partners & Stall selling. By dint of the hard work
of the Circlers & Tablers everything was lined up in quick time, we were all ready for this Mega Event.
Numerous Hoardings and banners were put up at prominent locations in the city. Dainik Jagran- our
print media partner- carried 2 Advertisements and Red FM- our FM partner carried 15 spots each day
for ten days prior to the event.
The Press Conference to promote the event was organized on 13th of October at the venue Hotel Royal
Cliff and the same was well attended by all leading dailies of Kanpur. We got excellent coverage in
many of the leading dailies of Kanpur The press was told about the purpose of the event, i.e. to raise
funds for our Schools. They were really impressed by our cause. Duties were assigned to all Tablers and
Circlers with respect to managing the event.
Finally the day dawned and Tablers and circlers were present at the venue at 7.00 AM. The layout was
perfect courtesy Sq leg Hardeep and his team. Our fellowship was also on in full swing as everybody
had breakfast at the venue, which was hosted by Tr. Hardeep. Everyone got busy as stall holders /
exhibitors started arriving from 8.30 AM. All the circlers, Tablers, Sq Legs & HTs wore white Shirts
and denims as the theme for the day.
The Chief Guest for the event was Income Tax Commisioner Mr Davendra Shankar. He was right on
time to inaugurate the event and was impressed with the variety of products on offer for Ladies, kids &
home dcor and was kind enough to share a word or two with almost all the stall holders as he was
taken around. Soon, the crowd started swelling and the hustle and bustle was to be seen to be believed.
The Bazaar saw participation of exhibitors from Kolkata, Delhi and Lucknow apart from Kanpur.
Meanwhile the help desk was making regular announcements for the promotion of specific stall holders.
Some interesting contests were also staged such as prizes for Lady in all white attire, Lady sporting
Polka Dotted outfit, Guys / gents with different beard, person having a postage stamp in their wallet /
purse etc. These kept the visitors also engaged and ensured that there was never a dull moment during
the entire day.
The Bouncers at the entry ensured that no unruly behavior took place and they also kept a watchful eye
on the swelling crowds. The Food Court was also doing brisk business as a variety of mouth-watering
cuisine was on offer for the visitors right from Italian to Chinese to Pao Bhaji and Mughlai Kebabs.
The event wound up at 10.00 PM when we had to close the entry to the Hall, such was the rush. The
total estimated footfall was..almost 8000!! Incredible for a days work !!

This couple is the gusto of every party. Cr. Annandita was inducted this year only and her participation
at all levels is exemplary. She had been extremely enthusiastic. Always being cynosure of all eyes,
radiating smiles, she is the circler with a lifetime guarantee. This high spirited girl, always at her best,
has done wonders. Tr. Yash always stood by her side and encouraged her to do her best! Being an
Active Tabler himself, he has made a perfect rapport between the Table and the Circle. Though very
new to circle and table they have done wonders and won all her hearts. Their contribution towards
projects is commendable and immeasurable. The couple is undoubtedly the best floor couple of
KHLC-88!

CONCLUSION
Kanpur Heritage Ladies Circle-88 is a dynamic circle and has acclaimed fame at the national via prompt
minuting, reporting & ace correspondences. We were amongst the first ones to adopt the New website and
upload our minutes on the same. Year-by-Year, we have been soaring high, reaching greater heights under the
guidance of the National Board.
We at KHLC believe in Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno i.e. one for all, all for one. The whole Kanpur
heritage family is a strongly knit group and I am very thankful to all the Tablers especially KHRT-125s
chairman Tr. Moriya who has given me his 100% support. This whole year has been quite euphoric for me and I
would now be looking forward to the journey ahead.

Thanks
