witnessedadvancements in all fields but bias against a girlchild is still
prevailing in the country. In order toimprove the condition of a girl child in
India.ManyNGOs, States govt. & Central govt. launches Savethe Girl Child
Campaign to arrest declining sex ratio. But to save girl child it isessential
to ascertain the root cause of the backwardness of the society. Being
amale interested society, familys desire for a male child to carry forth the
ancestral heritage. The first question parents ask at the birth of the child,
in all society all over the world, is always the same is it a boy or girl.If
boy then whole family celebrate that day with greet zeal and for girl child
vice-versa. After marriage woman has a limited role to play in the business
affairs of anarrow minded traditional family and hence her talents get
wasted. The Indianlaw has always been forceful in implying the privileges
of the lady members ofthe society. Its shame for us that Bharat Mata ki
Beti ko apne Astitva ke liye sangharsh karna pad raha hai. But girl child
only be save if the mentality ofcommon man toward girl changedPeople
generally ask this question that girl child is a curse & blessing .But I think
it as a stupid question. How can a girl be a curse. A girl is always
blessing..Woman are the pillars of society. How can they be a curse. Girl is
a mother who take can her children in every part of life. How can she be a
curse? My question to the people of this whole world. Are girls really equal
to the boys?It is man dominating society where men are always
considered for superior than the girls. The situation has drastically
worsened these days. Women suffer badly, infanticide have become
widespread.Parents do not spend money on their daughters. They always
neglect their daughters study having thought their daughter will leave
them one day. Boys are always considered superior but girls can
competition with boys in every field and even they can prove better than
boys. I think we must raise voice against those doctors who r killing
innocent girls before their birth and we must raise voice against those
parents who go for abortion and considered girl child as a curse. Only then
we can expect a good future. People think that girls are inferior but history
is the witness that Indira gndhi was a great leader. She gave a new
dimension to India. Kalpana chawla is a great legend & Sunita Williams
did a great job for India. Without a girl, a man is incomplete, a house is
incomplete, &without a girl this whole world is incomplete .So I request u
to please save the girl child & please never curse them...Save the girl
child because if there is no daughter then how would wehave mother. The
human society is like a cart. The God has created man and woman as the
two wheels of this society cart. Those two wheels are made for each other.
For the human race to exist and survive, both of the wheels must be
functional else the society collapses.

In nutshell all must be kind to women with high degree of love and respect
to them. There is no life without a wife and there cant be a wife in
absence of girl. Considering all the facts above, save the girl child in the
interest of humanity. Saving baby girls shall minimise crime and build a
powerful nation.
Daughters means, saving mothers thus, saving country.
