(b) List out the merits, demerits and applications of Tunnel diodes at microwave frequencies. [10+6] 3. (a) Why do practical Klystron ampliﬁers generally have more than two cavities ? How can broadband operation be achieved in multi cavity Klystron ampliﬁer.
