I take study in Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology
because i was offered by a professor of the Department of Food and Agricultural
Product Technology. I don’t know anything about the Department of Food and
Agricultural Product Technology earlier. Since I've entered in the Department of
Food and Agricultural Product Technology, I am grateful and tried to like the
Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology, especially my friends at
the Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology own fun.
Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology is a department
in Faculty of Agricultural Technology. In this department we will get lessons about
the way to produce and modificate agricultural product. So, in the department of
food and agricultural product technology Not only learn about food science and
technology, but in this department also learn about other agricultural product.
Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology was found at
1998, one year after the founding of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
Faculty of agricultural technology aims to educate students Undergraduate
Strata One to improve the quality of facilities, infrastructure, facilities and
technology and academic skills that support the realization of a healthy
academic facilities and beneficial for society to become the Faculty of
Agricultural Technology, which can compete well in the field of National
Agricultural Technology and International. while the department of food and
agricultural product technology, aims to improve the quality of facilities,
infrastructure, and technology, and academic skills that support the realization of
a healthy academic atmosphere and beneficial for society to be a PS that can
compete in the field of agricultural product processing technology both nationally
and internationally. Produce scholars in the field of agricultural technology that
has the provision of adequate science and technology and insights, and develop
cooperative partnerships in regional, national, or international.
Graduates of Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology is
expected to have competence as follows:
1. Key Competency
* Professionals in the field of process and product development of food and
nutrition related to health.
* Professionals in the field of industrial planning, implementation management
of food industry and agriculture, marketing, and business.
2. Supporting Competencies
* Able to identify and analyze issues related to food processing and
agricultural products and to design methods of its completion.
* Able to design, develop, and reverse the process and equipment for food
processing and agricultural products.
* Able to conduct and manage the communication, capable of developing an
organization with a good system of agribusiness management.
* Able to work together and partner with good.
