Post MBA, I wish to work as a consultant in an organisation implementing healthcare
delivery systems. Working there will help me gain operational insights, understand
the inner workings of the healthcare delivery system and learn a range of strategic
business issues and their resolutions.
This experience, along with my past experience and MBA learnings, would help me
in my entrepreneurial plan of developing an Innovative Healthcare Delivery
model. With the use of latest technology, this model can increase the reach of
medical care to the people who are deprived of the care either due to lack of

infrastructure or trained professionals. The trained staff can relay the patient related
data and clinical findings to a doctor sitting in a distant clinic. Thus, by using
telemedicine, the doctor can interpret the clinical data and manage the patient in
real-time. With the help of trained professionals and mobile devices, it is possible to
diagnose and screen many critical diseases. The e-learning modules can be used for
the training the health workers involved and also for imparting primary health
education in the target areas. This model, if implemented in a proper way, could
play an important role in filling the gaps in primary care delivery system in the
country.
To achieve my goal, a PGP from ISB would help me build a solid foundation to
develop a strategy and an execution plan. The academic tenure would also hone my
management and entrepreneurial skills. Networking with alumni and industry
leaders in the field would give me an opportunity to understand the real-life
business issues and gain valuable insight from their experiences. Regular

healthcare delivery systems from across the world.
