Save Tigers

Only 1411 Tigers are left in India! The National animal (Tiger) is at the verge of extinction before it becomes a
passe’, we need to save the Tigers. They symbolizes Power, Elegance, Grace and Charm. Tigers are
important as it maintains the ecosphere. It is a vicious circle which evolves and depends on one another. If we
want to save the Tigers, forests should be protected. If we maintain forestation herbivorous animals will
increase and with that water will also be restored.
We can save Tigers from extinction.

By educating and spreading awareness to People about how Tigers greatly affect our lives.
We should take measures to completely stop Tiger trafficking.
Children can take special interest by opening clubs in schools, locality and help in alerting and acknowledging
us about the importance of the Tigers.
Buying merchandize from the NGO’s and Government institutions which supports the cause and will also help
financially.
Government is taking measures especially at the tiger reserves such as Bandipur, Corbett National Park,
Kanha National Park, Manas, Ranthambore, Simalipal, Surdarbans are being watched over, so that tiger
smugling can be stoped. Tigers are killed mainly for their Skins and Bones. Skins are smuggled and an
individual can earn six times what he earns in one year. Bones are used to make medicines.
Saving Tigers will greatly prevent Global warming. If we secure Tigers we can save our planet as well.
I hope the coming generation won’t see Tigers in pictures or in the Jungle books as the chum of Tarzan and
Jane. It will be a great shame if in Zoo we have Plastic Tiger in the den.

Thanks Aru for awareness of endangered tigers. Ignorance of human race has and is causing an imbalance in
the nature. The ultimate affect is going to be not only on animals and plants but human beings too. The nature
has to take corrective measures which we may not like. The earlier we learn the better it is for mother earth and
its inhabitants.

I don’t want plastic tigers either. But there should be an initiative taken to spread awareness among people
living near these National Parks because the smugglers definitely need their assistance for such a work.
My suggestion would be to do street plays in these localities to save tigers like the one done for family
planning.

Hi Aru, I don’t think we have much time left rather we can say Our King of Land(Tiger) don’t have much time..
so we should make team of tiger lover to take some steps to save them from extinction. I don’t know how we
can start this but I know it should be done with immediate effect so that we can contribute to increase the
number from 1411 to 1412 and go on……………
Vijay’s idea is good … but again I don’t know how can we make it real from discussing in blogs….
This is for all the Tiger lover lets make more people aware about this very critical problem by coming out in field
….

“Our national animal is getting extinct. Not just the animal, the environment is depleting. We should take some
steps to save the forests, the environment, the animals.”
I have heard a lot of people say these lines, but I don’t think anything is a long term solution to the problems we
are facing. The world getting overpopulated, ozone layer depleting, forests getting cut, the situations are gonna
get worse only.
Anything we do might just slower the process, but it won’t be a solution. People might think they are
contributing in saving the tigers/ environment/ forests, but that is not the fact.
We should accept the fact that world will come to an end sometime soon. Even if our kids see the tigers, there
kids won’t and it won’t be because we didn’t try, it would be because it was inevitable.
