TYPEOFSERVICE
Under this tariff, the Company will supply singlephase or threephase alternating current
electricityat50Hz,atoneofthenominalsecondaryvoltagesspecifiedinthelatestrevisionof
the Companys booklet entitled Information and Requirements Covering Installation of Electric
ServicesandMeters.

CONDITIONSOFSERVICE
Thistariffisavailableforcustomerswithabillingdemandofnotlessthan5kVA.Noservicemay
be transmitted from a customer who receives this service to another premises without the
expresspriorwrittenconsentoftheCompany.

GENERALPROVISIONS
Whentwoormoreratesareavailableforcertainclassesofservice,thechoiceofsuchratesrests
withthecustomer.TheCompanywillatanytime,uponrequest,adviseanycustomerastothe
ratebestsuitedtoexistingoranticipatedservicerequirements,asdefinedbythecustomer.The
Company does not assume responsibility for the selection of such rate. A customer, having
selected a rate, may not change to another rate within a 12month period unless there is a
substantial change in the character or conditions of the service. In the case of a new service,
customers will be given reasonable opportunity to determine their service requirements before
selectingtheirpreferredrate.

MONTHLYRATE
1)CustomerChargeThisappliestoeachelectricityserviceunderthistariffforthefixedcosts
ofprovidingservice,includingserviceinstallation,meterreading,billingandcustomerservices.
$20.00/month+VAT
2) Demand Charge This applies to each electricity service under this tariff for the costs
associated with the generating facilities, transmission and distribution lines, substations,
transformers and other facilities required to meet individual and combined customer peak
demand.
(a)ForCompanyownedtransformer(s):
$24.00/kVAofBillingDemand+VAT
(b)ForCustomerownedtransformer(s):
$22.00/kVAofBillingDemand+VAT
Note that (b) is not available for new connections or for expansion of existing
customer transformer installations unless approved by the Company under special
circumstances.
3)BaseEnergyChargeThisappliestoeachelectricityserviceunderthistariffforthevariable
energycostsassociatedwiththeprovisionofthisservice,exceptthecostoffuel.

4) Fuel Charge This applies to each electricity service under this tariff for the cost of fuel
associatedwiththeprovisionofthisservice.

TheFuelClauseAdjustmentiscalculatedmonthlyaccordingtotheFuelClauseapprovedbythe
FairTradingCommissionandmayvaryfrommonthtomonth.

BILLINGDEMAND
(a)Customersconnectedunderthisrateshallbemeteredastodemandandthebillingdemand
shallbethemaximummeasureddemandofthecurrentmonthor5kVA,whicheverisgreater.
The measured demand may be measured in either kW or kVA at the option of the Company
depending upon the character of the service. If the demand is measured in kW then the
maximum kW reading shall be divided by a correction factor of 0.85 for conversion to kVA for
billingpurposes.
(b)TheCompanyshallreservetherighttoassessthebillingdemandincaseswhereanaccurate

demand reading cannot be obtained, for example, due to the inaccessibility of the meter or a
demandsealbeingbroken.Inthesecases,thebillingdemandshallbeassessedusingthebest
estimateofthecustomerskWh/kVAratioandenergyusagefortheperiod.Thesewillnormally
be determined using an average of the previous three months of the customers billing
information.
(c)TheCompanyshallreservetherighttoassessthebillingdemandbasedonaconnectedload
for installations with high momentary demands including lifts, cranes, Xray equipment and
welders.
(d)Forcustomerswithacontracteddemand,thebillingdemandshallbethehigherof(a)or(b)
orthecontracteddemand.

RULESANDREGULATIONS
ServiceunderthisscheduleissubjecttotheordersoftheFairTradingCommissionandthelatest
publication of the Information and Requirements Covering Installation of Electric Services and
Meters.Incaseofadifferenceofinterpretationbetweenanyprovisionofthisscheduleandthe
InformationandRequirementsCoveringInstallationofElectricServicesandMetersbookletthe
provisionofthisscheduleshallapply.Abillcalculatedunderthistariffissubjecttochangeunder
the provisions of such applicable rider(s) as may be approved and / or amended by the Fair
TradingCommission.
