Furnish all labor, equipment, materials and services
required for the design, fabrication, tagging, testing,
preparation for shipment and delivery, supervision of
erection and commissioning assistance associated
to the supply of the twenty-Four (24) Tanks and
ancillary equipments. All equipment shall be in
accordance with the Technical Specifications, Data
Sheets and Drawings listed in Section 2 and
Technical Notes in Section 1.3 below. The equipment
shall be complete and operational when installed in
accordance with Sellers instructions, and include all
necessary accessories except as specifically
excluded in Section 1.2 below. The work shall
include, but not be limited to, the following items:

Bolting hardware
Supplier to provide all bolting hardware (bolts, nuts,

Hardware is to meet bolt specification N 25414-1383PS-SS01-00001 Supply of Structural Steel and
Miscellaneous Metal.
This hardware is to be bagged and tagged for each
separate piece of equipment and shipped within the
same crate as the equipment itself.

1.3 TECHNICAL NOTES

1.3.1
General
a) Definitions :
Special tools for erection: those tools required to allow the erector to complete the
installation of equipment, which can not be carried out using standard tools.
Special tools for maintenance: those tools required to allow operations to perform
appropriate maintenance of the equipment, which can not be carried out using standard
tools.
Spares parts for pre-operational testing: spares parts required during the erection and preoperations phase. This phase includes running of motors, loop checking, balancing of
equipment, hydrotesting but does not involve the introduction of feed

Spares parts for commissioning: spares parts required during the commissioning phase.
This phase involves the introduction of feed and ramp up to full production.
Spares parts for one year operations: spare parts required for the one year of operations.
These parts are those that would normally be used during planned maintenance and also
includes those parts that have a high probability of failure.
Capital spares: these are spares with a long delivery time or the risk of downtime is very
high if the parts are not readily available. This category includes complete spare or spare
components such as pumps.
b) Seller Quality System shall meet Group I Requirements in accordance with General
Specification "Supplier Quality System Requirements" No. 25414-138-2QS-Q06L00002. All dimensions on drawing shall be in SI units.
1.3.2
Mechanical
a) Seller shall contact the Buyer in writing for resolution of conflicts between documents listed
in Section 2.
b) All calculations and dimensions on drawings shall be in the metric SI unit system. Additional
English units within brackets are acceptable.
c) Complete design and supply for all mechanical components and systems shall be in
accordance with Technical Specification for Mechanical Equipment N 25414-138-3PSM000-00001, Especificacin Tcnica para Calderera Fabricada en Taller N25414-1383PS-MTS0-00001 Especificacin Tcnica de Materiales para Caeras, Fitting y Vlvulas
N 25414-138-3PS-P000-00001.
d) All exposed metal surfaces shall be prepared, primed and finish painted according to
Technical Specification for shop priming and painting, N 25414-138-3GS-NX00-00001.
Seller standard shall be accepted previously approved by buyer.
e) All tie-ins shall be flanged connection as per ASME B31.3, class # 150.
f)
All manholes (roof and shell) shall be 24(600mm) unless other diameter specifically
indicated.
g) All tanks shall include all pipe nozzles flanges.

Civil
a) Structural design shall be in accordance with Criterio de Diseo Civil Estructural N 25414138-3DR-S15L-00001.
b) Snow loads shall be in accordance with Chilean Standard NCh 431 and recommendation
given by ASCE 7.
c) For seismic calculations, the Chilean Seismic Standard shall apply. See Code N NCh 2369,
edition 2003, or latest, for a seismic zone 2. The seismic design shall be revised and
certified by a competent Chilean consultant firm.
d) Wind loads shall be determined in accordance with Chilean Standard N NCh 432 and
ASCE 7, for topics not covered by the Chilean Codes. Basic pressures will be 118 kg/m2 for
Las Trtolas.
e) Seller shall deliver anchorage loads in accordance with Technical Specification for
Structural Requirements for Mechanical Equipment N 25414-138-3PS-S000-00001.
f)
All welding processes shall be in accordance with the latest edition of Structural Welding
CodeSteel, standard AWS D1.1.
g) All platforms and ladder shall be according to drawing:
