First Judicial District Department of Corrections Dubuque, IA 2010-Present Duties include: Assisting officers at the Dubuque Probation Officer and Residential Facility in working with their clients and case loads. Scott County Sherriff’s Department Davenport, IA 2009 Duties included: Assisted and lead various inmate programs to help with their overall self improvement. Entered confidential data regarding inmate’s information. Worked on confidential matter for Scott County Sherriff and shadowed various aspects of the correctional department.

EXPERIENCES

Actively involved with Dance Marathon over my four years at Loras College. Have held active leadership roles and assisted with the overall planning and success of the fundraiser. Have helped out with mini marathons in the Dubuque Schools and interacted with the miracle children and their families at numerous family events. Have been on ride a longs with Dubuque City Police Department, and Scott County Sherriff’s Department. Taken tours in a variety of jails and prisons in Iowa and Wisconsin. Have actively been involved and held leadership roles within Teens Encounter Christ Program in Moline, Illinois.
