ULTRA BRIGHT, ULTRA PORTABLE PROJECTORS FOR CORPORATE AND MOBILE PRESENTERS
Packed with high performance and advanced functionality, EB-1725/1735W is the perfect partner for the active business person.

EPSON’S 3LCD PROJECTORS THE BEST OF LCD TECHNOLOGY

Bold, bright, beautiful Epson 3LCD projectors
When powerful images are a must, so too is a 3LCD projector. Systems that use 3LCD technology are easy on the eyes because they reproduce astoundingly beautiful images in bright, natural colour without dither noise or colour break-up. 3LCD - The world leader in projection technology.

Broadening the reach of 3LCD projectors
3LCD projectors continue to be the most widely used projectors in the world. Many different projector manufacturers adopt 3LCD due to its overwhelmingly solid reputation. The fact that more than 14million front projectors units have sold worldwide over the past 18 years is a testament to customers’ trust in the technology and understanding of the stunningly beautiful images LCDs project. (3LCD projector market share from April, 1st 2002 through March 31st, 2007.)

Natural images Colour reproduction and gradation
Image showing smooth colour gradation

The technology behind LCD projectors 3LCD projectors pass light through LCD panels about the size of a postage stamp then use the projector's lens to expand the minute details within the images. Thus, the projector is able to reproduce a wide gamut of colours to project clear, detailed and beautiful images with ultra-smooth movement onto the viewing surface. This is the defining characteristic of 3LCD systems.

3LCD projectors reproduce an impressive luminance of colours and bright images.

The lumens detailed in the catalogue refer to the brightness of a projected image's "full-white" area. Luminance of colours, however, is also very important in a projector. 3LCD projectors offer superior colour luminance, producing vivid and sharp colour images. These capabilities enable them to provide more effective support than ever before in business presenrtations, which increasingly make use of colour in images such as photographs and charts broken down by colour.
Even though the brightness (brightness of white) described on catalogue is the same, brightness of colour differs depending on each technology and models.

3LCD projectors deliver natural images and faithfully reproduce primary colours across a wide spectrum. Another important element of proper image projection is smooth colour gradation. 3LCD projectors display excellent gradation along with smooth colour change. They project a broad array of presentation materials, such as photographic images, with a truly natural look and feel, so that they can be used effectively in all manner of business applications.

Easy on the eyes

Easy and Convenient Wireless Function
Set-up is easy using Quick Wireless Connection
Simply insert the included USB Key into the projector, then insert it into the PC to complete the wireless connection set up and projection starts automatically within a few seconds. Set up is quick and easy without any complicated settings. 1 2

Varied and convenient wireless functions (ex. Multi-screen)
Projecting images has never been so easy. Now featuring multiscreen display this series allows you to network up to 4 projectors wirelessly with just one remote computer. Use this function to perform multi-screen presentations and present landscape images which will definitely impress your audience.

A projector which uses the 3-panel LCD system breaks light waves that are produced by the lamp into the three primary colours, red, green and blue. Each of the three colours of light is then passed through its own LCD panel to provide images in full time colour with silky smooth movement. The three colours of light are then are recombined through a prism to give the images the rich, full colour which is projected onto the viewing surface without the possibility of colour break-up.

Normal

Brightness in the catalogue is measured by a 100% full-white pattern image. *HTPS(High Temperature Poly-Silicon) is an active matrix transmissive LCD. It is extremely small and produces high quality images.

Full-white pattern

Colour break-up, which occurs in field sequential colour projection technology, arises from the relationship between the motion of an image on a screen and the motion of the viewer's eyes. This causes the image to suffer from a "rainbow-like" effect. 3LCD projectors, however, do not sufer from the effect but instead produce images that are easy on the eyes.

Image with bright colours

Image with dark colours

The technology behind other projectors In business projectors, after the 3LCD projector system, the second most common type of projectors is the 1-chip DLP® projector system. These 1-chip DLP® projectors reflect light by a DLP® chip where lamplight is typically switched alternately through red, green, blue and white parts of rotating wheel.
1-chip DLP® projector : RGB are synthesized in the human brain.

Smooth motion

Screen Lens

3LCD projectors use three separate liquid crystal panels-one red, one green and one blue-which they use for the continuous combination of the colours. In fast-moving images, 3LCD projectors produce a smooth total image, preventing outlines from breaking up into multiple lines. This smooth video playback contributes to making effective presentations.

"DLP" is a registered trademark or a trademark of Texas Instruments in the US and/or other countries. Information and images where found by comparing several models of top selling 1-chip DLP® business projectors from countries with high market share against several Epson 3LCD business projectors with similar specifications and prices. (As of May, 2006) The images are simulated to show results.

Improved performance, “EasyMP NS Connection”
The improved transmission speed of data and images is indicated when connected wirelessly with a PC. Images are shown smoothly without any residual jerkiness.

Highly reliable Advancement of 3LCD projectors
The world of imaging technology is constantly evolving and 3LCD projectors are evolving right alongside to bring you more detailed and beautiful images. 3LCD projectors bring wonder and excitement to the world of imaging. The high reliability of 3LCD projectors is a matter of great pride for Epson. A major factor in the dependability of our products is that they contain no moving mechanical parts in the light control system. We believe that being the number one projector brand worldwide in 2005 (source: Decision Tree Consulting ) is a tribute to customers’ trust in the reliability of our 3LCD projector systems.
