Dear Ms Mums Lawyer

FAMILY LAW PROCEEDINGS – THURSDAY ADAMS (AN INFANT), ADAM ADAMS AND HAI KON YU

1. I enclose a copy of my facsimile this morning of approximately 6.30 am to Family Law Firm together with the
two attachments referred to in paragraphs 1(a) and (b).

2. I wish to refer you particular to the following paragraphs of this morning's covering facsimile of 6.30 am to
Family Law Firm:

a. Reference: paragraphs 1(a) and 5 – I request that you obtain instructions from your client
consenting to the interim ordrs sought by Mr Adams in his Application;

b. Reference: paragraph 5 – I note that as Gotham State government employed and funded solicitors,
your organisation and yourself have convergent professional and legal duties as categorised in
paragraphs (b) and (d) and that the latter (as per the attachments and comments reportedly made by
the Victorian Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Warren, prevail at law to the extent of any
inconsistency with your third set of duties – namely to your client. (And I would suggest not only is
that self-evident, but the prevailence of your (b) category duties have similar prevailence).

c. Reference: paragraph 4 – Please inform your client so that she is not inconvenienced by
unnecessary travel and undue distress to Miss Fiona on account of Mr Adams's inability to spend
contact time with Miss Fiona tomorrow morning.

3. Please note all other information contained in this and the attached communications.

4. I expect in due course a proper response to my facsimile to you of 11 August 2010.

a. If you have any concerns as to any possible impropriety in communicating back to me, despite such
concerns striking me as somewhat artificial and contrived, you should communicate directly with Mr
Adams.

b. Given the LADS concerns that I expressed with some gusto in my correspondences of 21 and 27
August 2010, I ask in that eventuality that you provide to Mr Adams one considered, complete but
still prompt written response – a one time response and NOT a series of mini responses.

c. I trust you will understand the potentially vexatious and abusive dimensions of a mini-series of written
responses.

Best wishes

JAMES JOHNSON
