Description :
Sistem bahan bakar merupakan system yang sangat penting, karena tanpa adanya pembakaran dalam mesin, maka mesin
tersebut tidak dapat menghasilkan daya. Injector merupakan suatu komponen dari sistem bahan bakar yang berfungsi
mengatur bentuk kabutan (injeksi) bahan bakar yang diinjeksikan ke dalam silinder. Bentuk injeksi bahan bakar untuk
tujuan atomisasi dan penetrasi. Pada skripsi ini, telah dilakukan simulasi dengan memanfaatkan software GT-POWER
untuk menentukan engine performance yang terbaik pada direct injection diesel engine dengan menvariasikan ukuran
diameter dan jumlah lubang injector. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh bahwa semakin kecil diameter lubang nozzle,
semakin rendah power dan torsinya, serta semakin banyak bahan bakar yang diinjeksikan.

Injector is a component of the fuel system that set spray form (injection) fuel which is injected into the cylinder. Form of
fuel injection for the purpose of atomization and penetration. In this paper, the simulation has been performed using
GT-POWER software to determine the best engine performance in direct injection diesel engines with variation of
diameter and number of injector holes. From the simulation results obtained that the smaller the diameter of the nozzle
holes, the lower the power and torque, and the more fuel is injected.
