a. The West Adams Plan has provisions developed and sanctioned by community residents that will improve quality
of life and health. Release of the Plan will allow residents to review it to ensure changes are consistent with their
recommendations before it goes before PLUM then City Council for approval

a. The Citys strategic Consolidated Plan (ConPlan), sets forth how the federal Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) will use the more than $87 million in grant funds to increase economic opportunity,
affordable housing, living wage jobs, and provide public services important to meeting the needs of Angelenos
and improving our shared quality of life.
b. While Neighborhood Councils are not eligible to apply directly for these funds, we want your input on the
ConPlan and how the grant-funded efforts may impact your community.
c. Community meetings will begin in October, 2015 and will take place again in February, 2015 after the draft plan
is released

9. Review/Approval: Formation of Neighborhood Council Elections Ad-Hoc Committee (11:10am/10 minutes)
a. To get ready for the elections, EmpowerLA released the second 2016 Elections Stipulation Worksheet so DONE
can begin locking down election locations and languages. The information is due via online submission on
October 9, 2015.
10. Discussion/Possible Action: Skid Row Neighborhood Council Formation (11:15am/10 minutes)
