Kohler Credit Union
Launches New Website
and beMOBILE
KOHLER, WI –

Kohler Credit
Union has recently unveiled a newly
designed and responsive website featuring a simplified, clean, modern
look, along with more user-friendly
features for both desktop and mobile
users. In addition, the credit union
launched beMOBILE, an array of services that make managing finances
more convenient including mobile deposit, a new mobile banking app for
tablets, and a branded smartphone mobile banking app.
Designed with the mobile member
in mind, and providing a more engaging user experience, the credit union’s
responsive website makes navigating
and accessing important information
easier regardless of the device being
used. The new website also incorporates a new mobile version of Live
Chat that makes it more convenient to
communicate with a lending or service
representative from a smartphone or
tablet. Laura Gabrielse, Kohler Credit
Union’s marketing director, says of the
new site, “The website’s simplified
look, combined with enhanced content, and optimization for mobile devices, allows users to better interact
with Kohler Credit Union and manage
their finances.” Kohler Credit Union

worked with digital agency Dynamic,
Inc. for the new design. “Kohler Credit
Union is known for outstanding member service, and our goal was to ensure the credit union’s online
experience reinforces this reputation.
We believe this new website will serve
Kohler Credit Union members well for
years to come,” says Jason Irish, Dynamic’s owner and digital strategist.
Kohler Credit Union’s beMOBILE
provides convenience and flexibility in
managing accounts. With the newly
launched mobile deposit and mobile
banking app for tablets, the credit
union now has a full suite of products
that delivers service to members whenever they need it. Members interested
in the smartphone and tablet mobile
banking app can find it in the App
Store™ or Google Play™.
Kohler Credit Union is a $300 million not-for-profit, financial cooperative, owned and governed by its
members. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Sheboygan,
Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc,
Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or
Waukesha County; as well as their immediate family members and associations or organizations.

Hee! Hee! Fall Follies 2015

A poem submitted by Cathy Cassady for the Kohler School Foundation
It’s coming! It’s coming!
The countdown’s begun.
Fall Follies is here.
Now, let’s have some fun!

Tied into his wig are pictures,
No two are the same.
Faces of students
He’s recalled by first name!

I walk into the ballroom
And whom should I see?
Oh my! It’s David Kohler –
The evening’s M.O.C!

“How big is your wig?”
I’m sure you will find
It’s the theme for the night
Of the hair-raising kind!

Of JK through Fifth grade,
I consider her Queen.
She’s our other new principal,
Ms. Lisa Green.

It’s what’s in his wig
That has caused me to stare.
It’s the Wannamaker Trophy
Just resting there.

It’s zany! It’s crazy!
It’s anything goes!
How big will your wig be?
Nobody knows!
Who will be there?
Imagine for a minute –
There is always one
Who is in it to win it!
First up, I can see
it’s the new sheriff in town.
Kohler’s one of two principals,
Mr. Tim Brown.

She’s sweet. She’s poised
And so refined.
I imagine her wig
with a crown of some kind.
The next lady you’ll know.
You will know her quite well.
She’s the leader of teachers
and school personnel.
Ms. Quynh Trueblood’s her
name.
She’s the woman in charge.
I’m impressed with her wig.
“Oh wow! It’s so large!”

It’s our children who benefit.
The ones that we raise.
And for that Kohler School Foundation
deserves
The biggest of praise.

On loan from the winner,
Australian’s Jason Day.
Let’s take a moment to honor THE BEST PGA!

Come on Kohler families
Let’s do our part
Reach into those wallets
And give with your heart!
No wig is too big or too small
As they say
So send for your tickets
And don’t delay!

This is all my imagination
And, surely, I jest.
But… there will be some keeping
Ideas, “close to the vest.”

It’s a night to gather.
It’s the place to be seen.
Grab your friends and let’s meet
at Kohler’s Fall Follies, 2015!

Whew! I’ve imagined so much.
I really must pause.
It’s the children, you see KSF’s cause.

Stay tuned for more details.
There is much left to say
Of the auction, the food
And the games we will play!

Kohler fourth grader
attends Youth
Leadership forum
at Loyola

Submitted photo

This summer, Kohler fourth
grader Danielle Stoffregen attended the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) at Loyola
University in Chicago. While at
the six-day forum, Danielle found
herself learning about the world of
medicine, discovered how to program a robot and learned about detective work and crime scene
investigation.

The NYLF gave Danielle an opportunity, while still in elementary
school, to discover her personal
strengths and to begin to acquire
the leadership and life skills
needed for academic and career
success.
Danielle left the forum with new
friends, ideas for her future and a
new understanding of her own
abilities.

LARGEST TREE SELECTION

(BBC)
In 2015 Racists tensions have been
on the rise in America.
One Race One Blood is co-authored
by Ken Ham of Answers of Genesis
and Charles Ware, President of Crossroads Bible College.
The tragic legacy of Darwin’s controversial speculations on evolution
has led to terrible consequences taken
to the deadliest extremes. One Race
One Blood reveals the horrors, as well
as the truth revealed in Scripture that
God created only one race.
Though written almost 10 years ago, this book is relevant for our
day. Written in a compassionate and uniquely compelling perspective.
Rev. Robert Steele leads the discussion, call (920) 457-4681 to register. Held Tuesday evenings: September 22-October 27, 2015 at 7:00

Parade of Homes continues this
weekend!
The Sheboygan County Home
Builders Association expects over
2,000 people to tour the six homes
included in the annual Parade of
HomesTM this year for two weekends: September 11-13, and September 18-20. The Parade of
Homes is a tour of newly constructed homes or remodeling
projects found throughout Sheboygan County. Tickets are on sale
now at locations throughout the
county.
“Two thousand people are probably not ready to build immediately; most are looking for ideas
for a project they may have in
mind or to see what changes might
be possible to their current home,”
said Marsha Binder, executive di-

rector of the Sheboygan County
Home Builders Association.
“They want to see the latest in
home building trends and the Parade of HomesTM is the place for
that.”
Binder says this year’s entries
have a lot to offer, including decorating tips, tours of new area developments, the ability to see the
quality of a builder’s workmanship, along with viewing the
trends in home design and amenities. Home building contractors
will be on hand to address any
questions.
“The Parade of HomesTM sparks
dreams. You leave with so many
ideas for projects or you might see
the perfect floor plan for your

lifestyle and decide to build new.
It is never too early to plan a construction project. Planning is actually the hardest part of the project
and that is what SCHBA members
can help with,” said the association president, Jerry Baltus, AdviCoach. “SCHBA membership
consists of representation for
every facet of home construction
projects. From the initial idea and
financing through move in, decorating & landscaping, SCHBA is
the source to select the professionals to complete your project.”
Parade-goers can tour each
home at their own pace and see as
many or as few as they’d like. Parade hours are Friday, 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sun-

day, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You
need only one ticket which provides access to each home. When
arriving at the first home, buyers
will receive a guide book and map,
or view the interactive guide book
online at schba.org.
Tickets can be purchased for
$10.00 per person at any Parade
home or for $8.00 at designated
ticket sales sites throughout Sheboygan County including: Associated Banks, Bitter Neumann
Appliance TV Furniture; Drexel
Building Supply; Dulmes Décor;
Kohler Credit Union(s); Macco’s
Floor Covering Center Inc.;
Neuens Fredonia Lumber; Oostburg Lumber Company; Oostburg
State Bank(s); United One Credit

Union; Waldo State Bank; Werner
Homes and the SCHBA Office located at 637 Walton Drive in Plymouth (located on the corner of
Hwy. 23 & Hwy. 57). Children 3
and under are free if parents are
able to carry them through the
homes.

HISTORIC PHOTO
PROJECT
We are very lucky to have in our library a rich
collection of historic photos dating back to the
1920s. Unfortunately they are not organized or
labeled with dates or names.
We would like to fix this problem but we need
your help. If you can make it in to the library,
we can have you look through some photos and
hopefully put some names with the faces. If
you can’t make it in, we can certainly make

copies for you (about 24 at a time) and deliver
them to you.
The library has earned a grant that will allow
us to digitalize our collection. If you have
historic photos that you are willing to share
with us, please contact Erin to set up a time to
bring them in. They will be scanned and
returned to you immediately.
LEGO CLUB
The library hosts Lego club the third Thursday
of each month at 3:30. All ages are welcome.
If you child is under the age of 10, a parent
must accompany them.
KNIT CLUB
We meet the second Tuesday of every month at
6:30. Please join us for an evening where we
work on our projects and share our skills and
lots of laughs. Everyone is welcome.
Crocheters welcome!
TRAVEL BOOKS
Let us know where you are planning your next
vacation! We will make sure we have the latest
travel guides for your destination!
