Research with analsysis into your chosen topic:-

Why we did it?

We decided to do research analysis on our chosen
topic to get a better understanding of the topic and
to see existing peoples views and so that we can
have more knowledge on the subject to help us
produce it.
What did we gain?
We gained enough research to understand our
chosen channel and the type of documentaries they
are already producing and we gained newspaper
articles and the medias' view on social networking.

We found this picture on google images and it shows us that

the most social networking usage tends to be in MEDC'S (more
economically developed countries) and the least in LEDC's
(Less economoically developed countries) such as Kenya within
the African Continent. This helps us with our research because
we can decide on who our target audience will be which will be
the countries with the most social networking usage such as
the UK and USA.

This newspaper article highlights the bad effects of social

networks such as facebook, twitter etc. The author highlights
the fact that social networks lead to ''low mood' 'jealousy' and
'poor self esteem'. This will be useful for our documentary
research as we can point out within our documentary about the
issues with social media and use this image as archival
footage.

This newspaper article highlights the positives of social media.

It is suggesting that 'Twitter' could save peoples lives by using
it to contact the fire brigade. This would be useful for our
documentary as we can use this archival footage to suggest
that actually, social media has its advantagess so that we are
not biased on to the subject.
