UNILAB PILLOW

UNILAB PILLOW is a software for design of pillow plate heat exchangers inside a circular or rectangular
tank, designed for batch applications. It calculates the time required to reach the temperature; it draws the
plate layout including the soldering, the positioning of the passage dividers and provide details on the geometry used. With just a click you can design both single or double embossed pillow plates types. It is a
complete tool, you just have to enter a few input data.
This program is also able to automatically plan the plate design, including laser soldering (the soldering
margin and external curb are also considered in the final calculation), the automatic positioning of the
passage dividers and the details of the geometries used.
Currently, UNILAB PILLOW, like all software UNILAB, has
a wide variety of fluids: it contains the thermodynamic
and thermophysical properties with 12 mixtures of liquids
and a list of more than 300 liquids, gases and refrigerants
from the REFPROP NIST (National Institute of Standards
and Technology).
