The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines Quezon City


Student Chapter (IECEP-QCSC) is the duly accredited organization of Electronics
Engineering students of Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Caloocan and Marikina. The
inter-university organization, with the dedicated members of the academe and the IECEP
Quezon City Professional Chapter, envisions a community integrating the principles of
electronics, communications, and allied fields of engineering in developing well-rounded
and service-oriented ECE students. Catering to more than 1000 students from 14
diferent universities and colleges across the metro, IECEP-QCSC organizes
projects and events that nurture and develop the future engineers of the country.
With this in mind, IECEP-QCSC has organized the Career Development Program
(CDP). As the flagship event of the IECEP-QCSC, the project is designed to empower the
students with skills, background and opportunities necessary to establish a meaningful
engineering career. The Career Development Program consists of four (4) instalments of
seminars and workshops: (1) Career Pathways, (2) Suit Up, (3) Technical Seminar, and
(4) Job Fair.

Career Pathways, the first instalment of the project, is an interactive seminar


focused on the different career tracks of Electronics Engineering and the skills necessary
for
each
track.
Established
professionals
from
the
fields
of
Electronics,
Telecommunications, Information Technology, Research and Design will share their journey,
experiences and insights on the various challenges they have encountered in their
respective fields. Career Pathways will be held on the 4th of October 2015, 1:00pm to
5:00pm at the Leong Hall Auditorium, Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU). A
registration fee of PhP 80.00 (inclusive of snacks, souvenirs and freebies) shall be
collected from each attendee.
