during
the
semester.
This course is optional. For the registration see Deadlines for registration and Application
Form Slovak language course is done through the LLP/Erasmus Language Application Form.
STUDYING AT OUR FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT:
Students will have courses in English language. We also offer a possibility to study in French
language and German language. However at the moment we cannot guarantee, which subjects
will be available in other languages.
The study guide of Faculty of Management (available at our website
http://www.fm.uniba.sk/index.php?id=2537 ) is from last academic year but the compulsory
subjects are the same. However, there may be some changes in elective subjects.
In the guide, the subjects are divided into Bachelors degree program and Masters degree
program. The Bachelors degree program is from the first to third year of study. The Masters

degree program lasts another two years (4th and 5th year of study) and is for students with
specializations.
All compulsory subjects are available for you in English language, however pay attention to
the semester it belongs to. Many of the elective subjects can be in English too.
Preference: If it is necessary, you can prepare your learning agreement with your
coordinator along with a list of subjects, which you want to attend. From our experience,
it is better to attend courses for two weeks and afterwards you can decide about your
subjects.
ISIC CARD
It is strongly recommended that all incoming Erasmus students obtain ISIC card. ISIC card
has to be issued by Comenius University. Foreign ISIC cards are not valid in Slovakia. The
card entitles a student to reduction of charge for meals at university facilities, city transport,
entry to student libraries, etc.
Students have to pay for the ISIC card in advance. A proof of payment of 16,50 EUR for the
card should be sent to Lydia.selecka@fm.uniba.sk .
