Planetary Transmission Module

The planetary transmission consists


of an interconnected system four
simple planetary gear sets.
Different clutch combinations give a
transmission either 5 or 6 forward
speeds.
For each gear change, only one
clutch or brake is actuated. Gear
changes can therefore be made
without interrupting tractive force.
This is the secret of their
excellent shift quality.
