The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research
(TIFR) is a leading Centre for research in a wide range of areas in astronomy and astrophysics.

1. NCRA-TIFR, Pune, India invites sealed bids in Two part, Part I: Techno-commercial Bid &
Part II: Price Bid for the following :
Description
Design, Supply, Installation, Testing &
Commissioning of 190HP VRV/VRF System
Daikin / LG / TOSHIBA( Carrier)/Mitsubhishi
(including necessary electrical works) at
NCRA-TIFR, Pune.
Estimated Cost : Rs. 120 Lakhs.

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) INR

Rs. 2,40,000/(by Demand Draft in favour of TIFR
payable at Pune)

2. Eligibility Criteria :
a) Bidder must have full-fledged sales & service set up for the past 3 years from the date of this
advertisement at Pune for undertaking sales and after sales service of the equipment at
NCRA-TIFR, Pune. Document evidencing the same to be submitted in techno-commercial bid.
b) Bidder must be an OEM or authorized Distributors / Dealers of OEM.
c) Bidder must have supplied VRV/VRF System of 190 HP & above for many organizations,
copies of orders executed in the last three years and order on hand must be enclosed
d) Bidder must have executed :- Three orders for VRV/VRF System costing 40% of Estimated cost & above OR
- Two orders for VRV/VRF System costing 60% of Estimated cost & above OR
- One order for VRV/VRF System costing 80% of Estimated cost & above in the last three years
from 31.03.2013 i.e. between 01.04.2010 to 31.03.2013.
e) Bidder must enclose Chartered Accountants certificate showing their profit & loss account for
the past 5 years prior to 31.03.2014 i.e. for 2011-12, 2013-13 and 2013-14 and should have made
profit atleast for three years out of these 5 years.
f) Copy of Solvency Certificate (not prior to June 2013) for atleast Rs. 60 Lakhs.
g) Bidder should submit list of works completed showing date of commencement and completion
during the past seven years and works in hand, showing date of commencement, completion and
% work completion as on date.
3. CD containing complete set of bidding document (non-transferable) can be purchased by any
interested bidder meeting the eligibility criteria on submission of a written application in
duplicate giving their full address and contact details addressed to the Purchase Officer,
NCRA-TIFR, Pune 411 007 (format of the tender request letter is kept below this notice) to the
above office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 700/- in the form of a Demand
Draft in favour of TIFR payable at Pune or by cash during office hours on all working days
from 05.06.2014 to 25.06.2014 on 10.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs.

The bids Part 1 Techno-commercial Bid & Part 2 Price Bid in sealed envelopes duly
superscribed with tender no. & due date must reach Purchase Officer, NCRA-TIFR, Pune
University Campus, Ganeshkhind, Pune-411007, India on or before 02.07.2014, 18.00 hours
and only techno commercial bid (Part-1) shall be opened on 03.07.2014 at 14.30 hours in
presence of bidders.
5. Price bids will be opened at a later date which will be intimated to only techno-commercially
qualified bidders.
6. All bids must be accompanied by an EMD as specified above and must be delivered to the above
office at the date and time indicated above. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders'
representatives who choose to attend on the specified date and time alongwith authority letter
from their company. In the event of the date specified for bid receipt and opening being declared
as a closed holiday for NCRAs office, the due date for submission of bids and opening of bids
will be the following working day at the appointed time.
7. NCRA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reasons there
for.
8. NCRA is not responsible for delay or loss of tender document / bids in transit.
