PORTUGUESE WORKSHOP: Basic conversation and

Brazilian culture

Bem-vindo ao workshop de portugus da BRASA!

Welcome to the BRASAs Portuguese workshop!
The Brazilian Students Association (BRASA) at USC really appreciate your interest in
our culture and language! We have developed a series of meetings (see next page)
in which we will introduce you to Portuguese, focusing on necessities one faces
when traveling to a different country. Therefore, we are going to teach you how to
introduce yourself to people, how to ask where to go, how to order food, how to get
a hotel reservation and so on!
In order to do that, we are going to meet every Friday, from 12 to 1:30pm, at
RTC.
We created a folder on Google Drive that contains all the material you are going to
need to follow the course. We have one folder that has the course outline and one
folder to every week of work. Each of these folders contains the material that we
give to you in class, the homework and some extra material, in case you are super
interested in Portuguese!

By the way, all the assignments are Google Forms, so you just have to click on it
and answer to submit. Dont worry, we promise we will never give too much work!
We highly encourage you to do more than we suggest in class. It is hard to learn a
new language, and a daily practice helps a lot. Ask the instructors some suggestions
of books, YouTube videos, movies, texts, blogs, or anything you may consider
interesting to enhance your learning process.
In case you need assistance, do not hesitate do contact us, we will be glad to help!
Just contact us through brasausc.pt@gmail.com
Boa sorte!
