Grey Cup Festival Week Shuttle Information

Downtown Shuttle (GOLD SHUTTLE)


With many of the 103rd Grey Cup activities taking place in the Downtown area the 103rd Grey
Cup Downtown GOLD Shuttle is the easiest and most convenient way to get around from the
Downtown hotels to the event venues. This FREE shuttle will operate throughout the week from
10am to 11:30pm. Buses will operate every 15 minutes and will link the RBC Convention centre
and the University of Winnipeg to all of the downtown hotels. A printable pdf map and Grey Cup

Late Night Service from the RBC Convention Centre


The Grey Cup BLUE Shuttle and the Grey Cup Downtown GOLD Shuttle will operate several latenight trips on Thursday, November 26 until Saturday, November 28. These trips will operate
from the RBC Convention Centre to various hotels at midnight, 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m.

The Grey Cup BLUE SHUTTLE will leave the Convention Centre and service hotels in
the airport area and along Pembina Highway
The Grey Cup Downtown GOLD SHUTTLE will leave the Convention Centre and
service hotels in the downtown.

Airport Shuttle (BLUE SHUTTLE)


For those arriving at James A. Richardson International Airport, the Grey Cup BLUE SHUTTLE, is
being offered and will connect you to the RBC Convention Centre, the Downtown hotels, and the
hotels along Pembina Highway.
The Grey Cup BLUE SHUTTLE will operate FREE of charge from Thursday, November 26
Saturday, November 28, as well as on Monday November 30, 2015. The BLUE SHUTTLE will
operate from the Greyhound terminal building, located at the airport

For passengers leaving on Monday November 30 Airport shuttles will begin at 6am. It takes
approximately 70 minutes, from the start of the line (Comfort Inn on Pembina) to the airport. A

Transit Fares
Winnipeg Transit has a variety of different types of fare options to meet our users needs.
If you are coming in for the week and plan to use the bus as your primary mode of
transportation a weekly pass is probably a good option for you. If you only plan to use the bus a
few times perhaps tickets would be a better option.
Full Fare, Adult Fare: $2.60
Reduced, Youth Fare: $2.10 (applies to youths 6 16)
**Children 5 and under ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult
Senior Fare: $2.10 (applies to persons who are age 65 or older)
**ID must be shown to the Operator when boarding
Bus Tickets: $2.25 each
Bus Tickets are a great value and offer convenience and savings. Tickets are sold in sheets of 5 or 10 and
are available at over 140 retail outlets throughout Winnipeg. For information on specific locations, refer to

Handi-Transit is a pre-booked, shared ride service and operates within the same geographical
service area of Winnipeg as the fixed route transit system. The origin and destination must be

Regular Transit Service from the airport


Winnipeg Transit runs bus service to and from the airport from 5:50am to 12:49am. The bus
terminal is located outside the south end of the airport. When you exit the airport you will see a
bus shelter and sign at the stop.
The airport is serviced by the route 15 Sargent/Mountain and the 20 Academy/Watt. When
buses leave the airport they will be signed 15 Mountain or 20 Watt. When they are traveling to
the airport they will say 15 Sargent or 20 Academy.
