Livingston St. This event will honor Children’s Week with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, local youth and an ELC representative creating mile markers for the Z.L. Riley Park. Mayor Buddy Dyer will also read the Children’s Week Proclamation for the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County.

Family Fun Day
Saturday, April 10th 10:00am-3:00pm Northwest Community Center 3955 W.D. Judge Dr. “Family Fun Day” is a FREE event for all families. This is an opportunity for the Coalition to interact with parents, children and community partners at a fun-filled event while still promoting Early Education, Physical Activity, and the Arts.

Pinwheels for Prevention
Tuesday, April 13th 9:30am Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children In conjunction with Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, the Department of Children and Families, Family Services of Metro Orlando, the Orange County Library System and Children’s Home Society “plant” pinwheels at Arnold Palmer Hospital and other varies locations in Orange County. We are also asking child care providers to create pinwheels with their students.

City Critters Nature Walk
Wednesday, April 14th 10:00am-3:00pm Carl T. Langford Park or Park nearest child care center One in three American children is either overweight or obese. This nature walk is a time for children to walk to a park, getting exercise on the way there, once they arrive. Exercise coupled with a balanced diet will help ensure that all Orange County children enter school healthy, fit and ready to learn! Call Shannette Prince at 407-259-2464 to RSVP. Seats are limited.

Playground Music & Arts Fest
Sunday, April 18th 10:00am-5:00pm Lake Eola This year the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County has teamed up with PLAYGROUND Magazine and the Radio Disney Road Crew for the coolest Music & Arts Festival that Central Florida has seen. This FREE event is sponsored by the ELCOC, Orange County Arts Education Center and Orange County Art Education Association.
