Nominees for elders are brothers Chris Engelsma, Robert Nordyke, Ron Rittner, and Andy VandenToorn. Nominees for deacons are the brothers Mark Arnoudse, Tom Karel Jr., Roger Osmun and Dwight Prince. Voting for new office bearers is to take place at the consistory’s meeting with the male members April 13 with the meeting scheduled to start at 7:30 PM.  Mutual moral censure was conducted in view of the scheduled Lord’s Supper to be celebrated, the Lord willing, April 25 in the morning service.  From the Deacons: The deacons presented the consistory with the annual financial report for 2009 as well as the fourth quarter report for 2009. Copies are available in the narthex.  From the Deacons: This week’s box collection is for Christian Ministry to Israel. Here is a note from their chairman, Rev. Kranendonk. Christian Ministry to Israel: Feeling the need to bring the gospel back to the Jews who first had the gospel, the Free Reformed Churches established Christian Ministry to Israel in 2007. As a registered charity in Canada it supports the churches and spread of the gospel in Israel through HaGefen Publishing together with Christian Witness to Israel of the UK. Though we have many books available in English, Christian, let alone Reformed, resources in Hebrew are rare. HaGefen plays a key role in filling this serious void.  Allendale Outreach Services - The Allendale Outreach Meeting will be at 3:00 pm today. It will be led by Brian Najapfour. He will be speaking on 1 Corinthians 15: 58, “In View of Christ’s Resurrection”. It will be held at St. th John’s Lutheran, 9628 48 Ave. Brian needs some help for the gospel tract distribution at Grand Valley State University, Allendale. He needs more men & women who will help him in sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are approximately 24 thousand students at that university, so the more people we have the better. If there is anyone interested, contact Brian: (616) 752-9339 or e-mail: najapfour@gmail.com  Due to Spring Break, the next Allendale Bible study will not be until Thursday, April 15th at 7:00 pm at 9628 48th Ave., Jenison, MI 49428 where we hold our mission outreach. We will continue our study in Chapter 2 of the book Powerful Evangelism for the Powerless by C. John Miller.  We hereby publish the banns of marriage between Derek Henry Baars and Frances Ann Marskamp. They intend to marry, the Lord willing, in the Ebenezer Free Reformed Church of Dundas on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 3:00 in the afternoon with Pastor L.J. Bilkes as the officiating minister. If anyone knows of just cause or legal impediment why they should not be united in the bonds of matrimony, you are to declare it to the consistory of that church.
