Heres the story: The set of two black notes


is a dog house. The Dog D lives inside.
Exercise: Learning all of the Dog Ds

1. Play & say every D on the piano, ascending


from the bottom to the top, lh to rh. Use #2
finger on each hand.
2. Play & say every D on the piano, descending
from the top to the bottom, rh to lh. Use # 2
finger on each hand
3. Play & say random Ds all over the piano,
using lh and rh.
4. Do all the above exercises again, with every
different finger.

The story continues: The Cat C, cannot go


in the doghouse, so he sleeps next to it, on the
left.
Exercise: Learning all of the Cat Cs
1. Play & say every C on the piano, ascending
from the bottom to the top, lh to rh. Use #2
finger on each hand.
2. Play & say every C on the piano, descending
from the top to the bottom, rh to lh. Use # 2
finger on each hand
3. Play & say random Cs all over the piano,
switch from lh to rh.
4. Do all the above exercises with every
different finger.

the following note groups, repeating it all the
way up and down the keyboard (using lh on
lower half, rh on the upper half):

Now, about the people house: The three


black notes make up the people house. Its a
strange house, but it does have a Front door
F, and a Back door B.
Exercise: Learning F & B
1. Play & say every F & B on the piano,
ascending from the bottom to the top, lh to rh.
Use fingers 1 & 4 on each hand.
2. Play & say every B & F on the piano,
descending from the top to the bottom, rh to
lh. Use fingers 2 & 5 on each hand

3. Play & say random Bs & Fs, Fs & Bs all over


the piano, switch from lh to rh.
