Emerge Weekend Away

The Handiwork of God

We are really excited that our young
adult weekend away is happening on
the weekend of 22-24th January.
This year we are looking at the theme of being Gods handiwork
and looking at the implications of this for our lives.
If you are interested, please talk to Emma or Lydia for more
details, or visit the church website.

Encountering Jesus
Our new series, which continues today, is looking at how
people interacted with Jesus. We can often believe that
either we arent good enough to be cared for and loved by
God or we believe that we stand in judgement over God.
What would an encounter with God actually be like?
How would he treat us? What would we ask him?
Christians believe that in Jesus we see what God is like and
that how he treats us is how God treats us.
By looking at how a wide range of people were treated by
Jesus, valued by him and challenged by him we can start to see
what an encounter with Jesus would look like for us too.
