## Is this solution feasible?

Is this solution degenerate?
Is this solution optimum?
Does this solution have more than one optimum solution? If so, show
all of them
e. If the cost for the route B-III is reduced from Rs.7 to Rs 6 per unit, what
will be the optimum solution

## 6. A company produces a small component for an industrial product and

distributes it to five wholesalers at a fixed delivered price of Rs.2.50
per unit. Sales forecasts indicate that monthly deliveries will be 3000,
3000, 10000, 5000 and 4000 units to wholesalers I,II, III,IV and V,
respectively. The monthly production capacities are 5000, 10,000, and
12000 at plants 1,2 and 3 respectively. Respective direct costs of
production of each unit are Re.1.oo, Re 0.90, and Re 0.80 at plants w,x
