Short Version What man am I who steals the flower drenched in golden beam delights, the elixir which the sages spoke? Lo all of nature has its will, to grow and live, and develop SELF ! But lo, O man, who has the link, tween higher and lower, conscious life! Do we give to flowers to forests or seas, to tiny enormous or flying beasts ? Who save their atoms their soils or air, cut down by a tyrant, with no welfare? O folk, I say, we are the ones, who offer, younger brothers love. Of natures kingdoms, in earth, above; we are the light, for t heir move on. So grant our young self-conscious heights. As we too mount in group consciousness. Raise Up! Move On! The Work, MUST Begin!

COMMENTARY Under the great Law of Correspondences the universe and in our case its kingdoms on earth ever progress through the great process of evolution, wherein: The consciousness and energies of the three lower kingdoms correlate to mans threefold personality: his etheric-physical, emotional and mental bodies. Each of earths three lower kingdoms evolve to realising some self conscious or energy nature of one or other such corresponding bodies in man, or to the human kingdom itself, as a whole.

They are of us, and we are of them. As they evolve so too we evolve however, in the larger scheme it is man who stands to them as an overseeing Creator or Supervisor governing their destiny. We hold the key or light, for their move on or evolution no matter if its the shifting of the poles which maybe presently causing vast environmental upheavals or whether its directly mans own errors causing climate change is not so much the issue but rather our needed responsibility as a beneficent Supervisor, Creator or Director to our younger brothers. As regards the human individual or kingdom has it (such kingdom or individual) the capacity to develop integration of all three aspects of the personality or lower Self into a state the human above, the three lower kingdoms. For the more advanced this includes an integration of all three aspects with that of the higher Self the Soul, or the Kingdom of Souls. As a basic trait of the Soul is inclusiveness primarily because its essence recognises that the Oversoul is identical or at-one with all souls and therefore (is such Soul) subsequently known, as group conscious. The Kingdom of Souls is another term for the Kingdom of God, and each religion has its own particular name or term correlating to this. It has been said when the human spiritual Soul truly enlightens or transfigures man or the personality the higher kingdoms sometimes referred to, as the planetary and solar Kingdoms respectively open up, to him. Though equally these higher three (kingdoms) including and under the King of kingdoms, the One Initiator, the Lord of the World cannot duly evolve to His great Plan or Will without humanity first evolving or refining its lower vehicles and shared kingdoms of nature. So at least that potential enlightening agent of the human Soul which guiding the refinement or evolution of the lower kingdoms, when such human Souls is in sufficient number or frequency provides then, the higher kingdoms or lives related to humanity with a key we are told, for Their more effective move onwards upon, the Higher Way of Evolution in relation to the working out of the purpose, for our planetary Logos.1 Of the kingdoms humanity stands at the midway point, endowed with the power of free will or the power to choose as have done Those enlightened Ones Who have trod this earlier evolutionary way (and now the Higher Way of Evolution,) before Them. All effort towards helping humanitys lower Self become a pure enough vehicle for the accessing of higher insight and understanding especially amongst the world leaders: for the curbing of selfishness and materialism widely enough for averting a final war as much unimaginable climate devastation obviously makes, good sense. One of the most effective ways this can be implemented is through the new education within our schools and places of learning alongside educating the masses towards an enlightened public opinion though an opinion that must needs be both focused and determined. To tabulate and comment with more detail on the connection between the three kingdoms of nature and mans threefold vehicle of expression the personality alongside, a look, at both future humanity and todays vanguard focusing through the Soul with a growing glimpse or identification with the top of the ladder, have we:

Those implied under historical types, include as given under the Ageless Wisdom teaching the major racial cycles anteceding traditional historical accounts by at least eighteen million years. On the present dense/material globe whereon humanity currently resides within the Earth (or fourth) scheme of the solar system there are said to be five Root Races or stages of conscious development and focus: the Lemurian, the Atlantean, the Aryan (the current root race), the Next (unnamed as yet) root race and, the Final root race. With the psychological types we have, those of current humanity whom are either, Lemurians with physical predispositions (though also expressing lower evolved emotional tendencies) yet, of whom, are relatively rare considering the billions in incarnation; Atlanteans with emotional dominance forming the majority; Aryans with mental tendencies and inclinations especially later Aryans (or true Aryans proper for) whom, are rapidly growing in number whilst again, a relatively smaller few as the disciples and initiates comprising the vanguard for the Next or newer psychological Type leading the race thereby towards, such inevitable orientation as noted displaying higher group qualities and consciousness and idealistic vision if not for the more advanced amongst these, with Triadal or Monadic consciousness.

Another way of looking at perhaps an important key to this table might lie in the fact, that The soul, in relation to the human being, is the mind principle in two capacities, or the mind expressing itself in two ways. These two ways are registered and become part of the organised equipment of the human body when it is adequately refined and sufficiently developed: 1. The lower concrete mind, the mental body, the chitta or mind stuff 2. The higher spiritual or abstract mind. These two aspects of the soul, its two basic qualities, bring into being the human kingdom and enable man to contact both the lower kingdoms in nature and the higher spiritual realities. The first, the quality of mind in its lower manifestation, is owned potentially by every atom in every form in every kingdom in nature. It is a part of the body nature, inherent and potential, and is the basis of brotherhood, of absolute unity, of universal synthesis and divine coherence in manifestation. The other, the higher aspect, is the principle of self-awareness, and when combined with the lower aspect produces the self-consciousness of the human being. When the lower aspect [. . . as the lower mind of man as one example] has informed and pervaded the forms in the subhuman kingdoms, and when it has worked upon those forms and their latent sentiency so as to produce adequate refinement and sentiency, the vibration becomes so potent that the higher is attracted and there is a fusion or at-one-ing. [Here along with the first point (or aspect of the soul) above I suggest holds, an important key to understanding the linking of all the subhuman kingdoms to the self-consciousness faculty in man and through which humanity is or should be responsible for overseeingS.T..] This is like a higher recapitulation of the initial union of spirit and matter which brought the world into being. As the aim for the personality of man, is experience, development, and refinement of each of its vehicles: physical, emotional and mental in a like manner, the aim for the subhuman kingdoms is to experience, develop and respond to the higher refined vibration or quality within the next kingdom along also (for the two lower kingdoms) with humanitys lower mind or self consciousness on the ladder of life: that all lower kingdoms become truly aligned or integrated (for perfecting environmental balance or harmony) so that, in the vaster cycles the evolutionary goal for each kingdom is to become, the one above it. Just like, the aim, for each personality sheath is to become focused or predominantly embodying the next higher on the rung until eventually the Soul pours through unimpeded leading man, into the fifth kingdom, the Kingdom of Souls. As all four kingdoms form part of creation and are in and of themselves actively creative, evolve and interrelate. They represent an organic ladder for a greater unifying Life or Lord we may describe as the overseeing Hierarch (or King as noted,) to such kingdoms. Such a Hierarch is known by many names according to the various spiritual or religious nomenclature of one or other branches of the One Fundamental School (spiritual, religious or philosophical) overseeing all human thinking Souls or Lives. Within Gods (or such Hierarchs) kingdoms of nature has He a graded series of creative Builders,

Devas or (the Christian equivalent) Angels of such a subtle nature as to evade the observation of present humanitys faculty of sight. The point being, our kingdoms simply form an outer expression or channel for a graded series of lives or creative hierarchies of and for, ONE GREAT LIFE, the Lord of the World. This life corresponds well to the situation of the collective self-conscious Life of One Humanity overseeing all three lower kingdoms and their myriads of lesser lives especially when we engage the Soul into the process though such a soul being way too high for the lesser kingdoms to perceive matters not so much but that, such a Soul or its higher values, principles and laws does or should indeed for us, direct proceedings. The physical disciplines needed for best managing earths environmental challenges requires more than simply mechanical physical instructions to be carried out, or enforced. As implied it needs or demands genuine understanding and management of our broader human parts or constitution: the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Or that our human physical appetites, desires and self-willed or -determining thoughts of, or in a selfish or material nature dont guide or direct humanity or its various groups, we call the nations, blocks, federations, unions etc. etc.. Under the new education as hinted above each body (especially the emotional and mental) that an individual or a group may be polarised in has for its major educational objective to raise its polarisation up to, the next higher rung on the ladder. This encourages each and all to recognise each persons or groups part in the greater whole alongside those sound and tried means for reaching the top of the ladder and with this, the cultivation of responsibility for helping the less advanced. One keynote that holds a significant clue for the integration of the personality with its perfect or higher Model, the higher Self is that, of good will. Another major key at this time for integrating the personality is that of, the will-to-equilibrium or -peace. When a cooperative spirit of the will to that which is good and a will-to-equilibrium are realised beyond merely material or self-grasping dictates and these included behind all war or conflict then indeed may humanity and all groups or peoples realise that through free will, their will-to-choose aright or for, the greater good of the larger whole in the shape of a vast world opportunity of change, may results emerge. We are now in that period for where the opportunity for choosing the greater keynotes over the lesser dictates, for choosing the greater saving Force over the forces of materialism and selfishness. In this, irrefutably today, The Work, MUST Begin! or might we say, more consciously guided by a higher unfolding World Picture or Plan more suited to more illumined Thinkers Humanity collectively Is, or calls forth in response. In lieu of terrorist, rogue state and further spreading of nuclear or similarly devastating weapons along with the highly volatile emotional responses within many of the world religious and other reactionary groups even a couple of years may seem, a reasonable time for arriving at a needed international decision made and implemented by humanity for offsetting the death throw lashes of the selfish beast, within man otherwise, granted the chance, may destroy us all. It is a time therefore for great balance or equanimity of mind, for the compassionate loving heart alongside the swiftness to mobilise the essentials for bringing to fruition the needed will-to-choose and act accordingly including our practical abilities for sealing the door, where evil dwells. A positive fearless spirit or attitude must equally abide so that those whom might weaken our very spirit with fear or a numbing negativity is equally dispelled from the needed invincible and collective will-to-achieve or -conquer the error of wrong human thought, words or actions.

It is likewise interesting that it is said the majority of humanity today are fundamentally governed by desire but also concurrently and astrologically ruled by Libra. This latter being the forerunner stage to that period vast millennia ahead when at the final Judgement day the point of crisis and of balance needed on a higher turn of the spiral through Libra (will work out via the majority of the time) upon, the mental plane. For all or the majority will then be polarised within, the mental vehicle. In this, the Tibetan Master D.K. further notes that for our current majority the balancing is upon, the astral [or emotional] plane and the desires of men are predominantly in a position of casting the deciding factor whereas, in the next great cycle it will be the minds of men which will do the deciding. Today the foremost men of the agedisciples, aspirants and the intelligentsiaare being tested under the Scorpio experience whilst the masses are in the Scales; the weight of mass desire will turn them either up towards spiritual decision or down towards material and selfish ends. ( A Treatise on the Science of the Seven Rays, Vol.3, Esoteric Astrology:232-3.) With such note it is patently obvious how significant it is for offering clarity of the broader design working out that those indeed focused as true thinkers open to higher insight and suggestion might work with greater effect with those still oriented in the equally divine vehicle of desire relatively speaking or of whom predominantly in a position of casting the deciding factor may hopefully be led aright well avoiding the most undesirable of outcomes. We might then well realise where right human relations as a result, are vitally important. Learning about the different focused levels of orientation for serving humanity and the Plan, or such techniques best appropriate for the various groups focused in different vehicles may greatly aid realisation of how best to serve. In this and expanding on the aforementioned (emotional and mental) types, the release by the Tibetan Djwhal Khul of the first two Stanzas of the Great Invocation (Let the Forces of Light bring illumination and Let the Lords of Liberation issue forth) along with His commenting on the new astrology and psychology provides greater clarity as to two distinct types of people. Each of these types correspond to two major cleavages in both humanity and individual alike, and as these relate to the will-to-good and the will-topeace already touched on and their implications for dealing or bridging such cleavages. As for example, where the Tibetan mentions that the second Stanza of the Great Invocation was given out later and was intended to be a test and a decision point in a time of crisis [at the time of the Second World War] it was offered, under this test, to the masses, but was intended primarily for the use of those aspirants and disciples who are not only mystics but who have made at least some small progress in their attempt to tread the occult way [the way of the practical esoteric worker]. They are mentally focussed in their attitude; the higher way is recognised by them; the vision has been seen and they are now ready for something closer and more real. The second stanza given is primarily, therefore, for the use of those who have mounted, or are in process of mounting, the Fixed Cross [the cross of right orientation, a Cross equally under the new esoteric astrology the astrology of the Soul relating to the higher rulerships or energies and thus more effective or appropriate than the usual orthodox rulerships or energies that govern the majority.] 6

It is for this reason that the use of the second part of the Great Invocation was relatively limited. It was repudiated (almost violently sometimes) by the emotional type of person who could see no further than the beauty of peacethe goal of expression upon the astral [or emotional] plane. Their vision of the greater whole and of the evocation of the will-to-good (which is not the will-to-peace) was exceedingly limited and this through no fault of their own. It simply indicated their place upon the ladder of evolution and marked a relatively useful point of service, but one which is in process of being transcended. The people in the world today are coming to realise (through suffering and its consequent reflection) that there is something greater than peace and that is the good of the whole, and not just individual, peaceful conditions or national peace. This re-orientation of the human consciousness is brought about by the determined attitude of the souls of men, massed and blended, organised and focussed by the vision of the general welfare of humanity. It was, however, essential that these distinctions in attitude should appear in their clarity and, therefore, we gave out the two stanzas of the Great Invocation separately and at different times. You learnt thereby the difference of attitude between the mass of well-meaning people in the world, and the correctly oriented attitudes of the intelligent aspirants and disciples. This was necessary before wider action could later take place. I would pause here and remind you that both groups are necessary: the first groupemotional and idealistichave a part to play in focussing the mass fluid aspiration. Their responsibility is to the general public. The other group of trained thinkers and people who are animated primarily by the will-to-good (which is of more importance in this world cycle than the will-topeace) have a function to carry out in evoking hierarchical response in reply to the aspiration of the first group. [Hierarchical relating to the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet those just men made perfect amongst many other names Whom have trod, a little further along the Way.] They focus this aspiration on the mental plane, create a thoughtform embodying the objective and project the call which may reach the ears of the Lords of Liberation. The blended invocation and the united call from the different levels of the human consciousness will bring a mighty appeal to bear upon the hidden Centres of the Saving Force. It is this united appeal [speaking now around seven decades ago but may well be apposite for todays current clime of world affairs] which you must now organise. Thus the mass of humanity will be stimulated to move off the Mutable [or the more separative-personality based] Cross on to, the Fixed Cross and the new world cycle beginning in Aquarius (one arm of the Fixed Cross) will be definitely inaugurated by humanity itself. It might be said, therefore, that the Great Invocation as first given out [Let the Forces of Light bring illumination] was for the use of those who are crucified upon the Mutable Cross, the Cross of change [implying the negative unstable, fickle or changeable nature of those upon such Cross] whilst, the second invocation is for the use of those who are crucified upon the Fixed Cross, the Cross of right orientation [and who can also apply positive change, movement etc from the higher focused point of right orientation to met need]. It is for the use of those men and women whose aim is the will-to-good, who think in terms of world service and who are oriented towards lightthe light of knowledge, the 7

light of wisdom and understanding and the light of life itself. [The Tibetan further states, that:] most of His disciples [under the two Ashram externalisation experiments He carried out earlier last centuryas also we might well interpret more broadly to disciples in generalsaying directly to them] are in the transition state wherein you are stabilising your individual will, and are attempting increasingly to express it in the will-to-good. I would have you deeply realise that if the will-to-peace is conditioning you, then you are still working on emotional levels and your work will then have to be with the first stanza of the Great Invocation and with its distribution to the masses. If it is the will-to-good which influences and directs you, then to the awakening of mass aspiration you must add the task of evoking the response to world need in the thinkers and aspirants through the medium of the second stanza, blending the two approaches in an effort to evokevia the Hierarchythe will-to-save of Shamballa. ( A Treatise on the Science of the Seven Rays, Vol.3, Esoteric Astrology:571-3, 578.) In His earlier Volume 2 on the new psychology from the same treatise, and adding more to what I said above, He comments, that, in the two words peace and good will you have two keywords which express the bridging of two cleavages: One in the psychic [or subjective] nature of man, particularly that between the mind and the emotional vehicle which means the attainment of peace, and the other between the personality and the soul. This latter is the resolution of a basic split, and it is definitely brought about by the will-to-good. This bridges not only the major cleavage in individual man, but it is that which will bring about the great and imminent fusion between intelligent humanity and the great spiritual centre which we call the spiritual Hierarchy of the planet. (Esoteric Psychology Vol.2:448 by Alice A. Bailey.) The Work (then yes), MUST Begin! For does not, the very saving of our planet, depend upon it? That higher values, principles and laws direct and not merely interceptors of truth. International, regional and local environmental agreements or cooperative enterprise must obviously work out through the various groups, where the science for such agreements, is sound. Along with educators in general those who are best skilled at determining the results of climate change and environmental issues and of whom suggestively may most usefully teach such issues via the following four factors given by the Tibetan and with the lower three kingdoms being implicated, may greatly facilitate. From the educational angle four concepts therefore which firstly and profoundly underlie or motivate the family unit as much, the very structure of existence itself and are factors to be preserved and developed and held before the race as that which is ultimately ideal. In this, using then the idea of humanity as the united family of all peoples on earth. However it appears within the framework of the school or family life the Tibetan intended might form the major focus best suited for teaching or imparting such factors from the following excerpt however, as He has ever equally encouraged the teachings must be adapted or modified for meeting the need: under the school of life itself or as noted the one family of humanity might such adapted met need, bear fruit. Four factors comprising then,

1. The recognition of hierarchical status, which is, in the last analysis, the relation of the lesser to the greater, of the weaker to the stronger and of the more experienced to the less experienced. Thereby the sense of protection is developed, which is the working out of one form of the love aspect in the universe. 2. The recognition of responsibility, inherited, applied or shouldered. This is the relation of the older to the younger, of the wise to the ignorant. Thereby the need of providing opportunity for the unfoldment of knowledge is developed. 3. The recognition of the faculty of forgiveness, which is, or rather should be, the expression of the relationship between unit and unit within the larger group, or of group and group within a still larger whole. Forgiveness is essentially the process whereby each gives to each along psychical [or subjective] lines, and it is one of the rudimentary expressions of the quality of self-sacrifice which is, in its turn, an aspect of the will nature of Deity. Being therefore related to the monadic or will life, it is as yet completely misunderstood and misinterpreted. It is in reality the sense of synthesis or of identification and of each for all and all for each. This sense is being developed today as never before, but it is still so embryonic that words do not help in explaining it. This faculty of forgiveness is not a form of magnanimous forgetting or overlooking, neither is it a gesture of superiority whereby the slate is wiped clean. It is the very breath of life itselfthe giving of all to all and for all. [It is interesting here to note that sometimes the Tibetan mentions, under the Soul Law of Sacrifice, that a better reworking of the word forgiving is found, in the words, of a giving-f or that may further help clarify this giving of all to all and for all.] 4. The recognition of group interplay within the larger world relationshipjustly, harmoniously and rhythmically. It is the sense of right relations, carried forward consciously and harmoniously developed. In the period which is coming, and under the influence of the new education, these four basic recognitions will be inculcated and taught to every child in school and college. They will thus govern and develop the new form of family unit which must inevitably come into existence. The family group (like all else in human affairs) has shared in the general separativeness, selfishness and individual, isolated exclusiveness, based on class distinctions, inherited tradition, racial attitudes and national custom. Families (under any category and bracket) present a united front to the world; parents defend their own children and position and situation, right or wrong; family pride, tradition, pedigree are overemphasised, leading to the different barriers which today separate man from man, family from family and group from group. The grip of the past upon families is a factor which is largely responsible for the revolt of modern youth against parental control, though other factorssuch as rebellion against enforced religion and old outworn standards and philosophiesare equally responsible. However, under the coming world order, educators will prepare the young people in school and college for participation in an active and consciously realised group life. For this they will be prepared by training them in the recognition of the four factors I have listed as essential to human progress at this time. These will, when grasped and practiced, produce the needed right relationships and eventually a harmonious world. Hierarchy, responsibility, group interplay, and forgiveness or sacrificethese are the four categories of recognition which will enable each person to do his part and 9

take his share in bridging between person and person, between group and group, and between nation and nation, thus establishing that new world of recognised corporate relationships which will eventually produce the civilisation of light and love which will be characteristic of the Aquarian Age. It is these four concepts which lie behind the Science of the Antahkarana,3 the Science of Meditation, and the Science of Service. The three major sciences said to eventually dominate in the field of education [in the new age though of which, will work out first, through the next two centuries intermediary focus, of needed temporary, and balancing work. Three sciences however equally noted], that will not either negate the activities of modern science but will integrate them into a wider subjective whole. The connotations [of these four concepts] have to be interpreted in no sentimental sense, or in the coin of current ideas, but always from the angle of a trained intelligence and of a spiritually developed consciousness. Parenthood will not be regarded primarily as an animal function or as a purely social or economic function, which are the usual lines of approach at this present time. The establishing of a deliberately prepared or constructed thread of light (as a definite part of the world-antahkarana) between parent and child, even in the prenatal stages, will be carefully taught. Implications equally here that adapting such four concepts for the teaching of what we might call the new environmental movement or approach that neither resorts to simply sentimental or emotional interpretations nor simply to the coin of current of ideas but, as said, always from the angle of a trained intelligence and of a spiritually (or if you prefer, to a wholistically) developed consciousness. Yet naturally if the latter two are duly carried out the former (the use or coin of current ideas) might, as may well be imagined acceptable in a relative, non-dominant manner.
An advanced science of meditation variously described or defined. Like deity man is the expression of a triune Godhead. This trinity relates to what are called the three threads: the life thread, the consciousness thread and the creative thread all existent within man as equally within the greater lives the planetary and the solar Logos respectively within Whom, we live and move and have our being. The individual constructed antahkarana automatically goes towards building that of humanitys as in turn, the planetary and systemic counterparts. It maybe most useful however for comprehending study and practical experience if we define the antahkarana as the extension of the threefold thread (hitherto woven unconsciously, through life experimentation and the response of consciousness to environment) through the process of projecting consciously the triple blended energies of the personality as they are impulsed by the soul, across a gap in consciousness which has hitherto existed. Two events can then occur: 1. The magnetic response of the Spiritual Triad (atma-buddhi-manas), which is the expression [or threefold vehicle] of the Monad [the highest aspect in man], is evoked. A triple stream of spiritual energy is slowly projected towards the egoic lotus [the centre above the top of the head] and towards the lower man. 2. The personality then begins to bridge the gap which exists on its side between the manasic permanent atom [MPA] and the mental unit [MU, meaning] between the higher abstract mind and the lower mind [for the MPA is the essence of the higher or abstract mind, and the MU the essence of the lower or concrete mind]. As already touched on from the larger perspective humanity is seen as the overseeing Creator, Director or Supervisor of which is equally the role, of the parent. Our parenthood, creator- or director-ship to the three subhuman kingdoms will pending light illumines our way not similarly be regarded as simply an animal/instinctual function or as a purely social, recreational or economic function which are perhaps the usual lines of approach at this time. The establishing of a deliberately prepared or constructed thread of light (as a definite part of the world-antahkarana) between parent and child (or the combined three subhuman kingdoms) may likewise carefully be taught. Or as somewhat implied through studying, understanding and applying Rule 8 for Group Initiation given out by the Tibetan where we have indicated a key or special function of mankind to the saving or regenerating of nature or through, the use of the saving force which implies the antahkarana and application of such force being radiated by humanity as a groupcreative impulse and this gradually sweeping all forms of life into the field of its magnetic potency thus relating them (or rather the soul of each kingdom), to the Hierarchy and to Shamballa. Hierarchy and Shamballa here therefore represent I suggest, the two highest aspects or realms for human evolutionary development on earth and thus from this angle to our higher parenthood elements to the lower kingdoms in relation to the saving Force and humanitys special function of serving, the lower kingdoms. For the mean time however the more advanced members within the New Group of World Servers today meet, such need as implied under rule 8.

With regards to the above mentioned age or civilisation in process of being established there are furthermore certain key laws or principles the New Group of World Servers are said to emphasise or talk about for anchoring through the needed bridging work the Plan, on earth and of which may bear more universal accessibility (in contrast to the just mentioned, saving Force). The Tibetan refers to these, in His talks to Disciples as follows even though over six decades ago still bear relevancy in light of the period it takes for an age or civilisation to unfold. Earlier in this instruction I used the words: An united world group given to unanimous and simultaneous meditation ... for the jurisdiction of the Christ. I particularly want to call your attention to this last phrase which introduces a new concept into the preparatory work to be done by the New Group of World Servers. The task is, through meditation, to establish the knowledge of and the functioning of those laws and principles which will control the coming era, the new civilisation and the future world culture. Until the foundation for the coming jurisdiction is at least laid, the Christ cannot reappear; if He came without this due preparation, much time, effort and spiritual energy would be lost. Therefore, we must assume (if these premises are accepted) that there must be organisedin the near futurea group of men and women in every country who, under due and proper organisation, will simultaneously and unanimously meditate upon those juridical measures and those basic laws upon which the rule of Christ will be founded and which are essentially the laws of the Kingdom of God, the fifth kingdom in the evolutionary and natural processes of planetary unfoldment. So much has been discussed in relation to these laws from the mystical and strictly Christian angle that the terms used are essentially meaningless; the whole subject requires revitalising; it needs to be endowed with a fresh and new presentation and 11

a new terminology, more suited to the growing mental grasp of the scientific and modern mind. There has been endless talk about Brotherhood and the establishing of the principle that we are all the children of God, and this has done little to change mens approach to each other and to the shared human problems. [Even so, the law of paradox equally plays its part as for example a particularly advanced group of esoteric workers may well be in process today for restoring a whole fresh new approach to the idea and fact, of brotherhood. Though, as we might well imagine an approach equally embodying numbers if not all of the following laws and principles.] The New Group of World Servers will talk in other terms and their emphasis will be upon: 1. The Law of Right Human Relations. 2. The Principle of Goodwill. 3. The Law of Group Endeavour. 4. The Principle of Unanimity. 5. The Law of Spiritual Approach. 6. The Principle of Essential Divinity. As an exercise in Self- or group-discovery may it not be to our advantage to research the many possible circles or quarters of the race, where due evidence and emphasis of these terms are to be found opening up, the needed connections for the working out, of the newer Christ-based, or Soul principles and laws. And/or taking these in to our meditations as seed thoughts upon which may illumine the needed wherewithals our younger brotherly kingdoms might also (along with humanity), genuinely seek. As a result, may the higher or fifth Kingdoms environing or governing focus of essential causes become therefore a part, of us. For as a man thinketh, hopeth, and willeth in his heart, so is he is, an irrevocable fact. And an important part, of the Work, thus begun.

ENDNOTE: With further regards to the Antahkarana the Tibetan adds, under The Technique of Construction It is my intention to be very practical. The building of the antahkarana (which is consciously undertaken upon the Path of Discipleship) is a process which is followed under certain ancient and proven rules. When these rules are correctly followed, the sequence of events and the appearance of the desired results are inevitable and unavoidable. There is much that I could say which would be of small use to the average aspirant, as it would be concerned with subjective realities whichthough existent and occult facts in a natural processare as yet unrealisable. My problem is to present the process in such a manner thattowards the end of this [the twentieth] centuryeducators will be thinking, speaking and teaching in terms of bridging, and thus approaching basic statements which have a definite bearing upon this point which we are considering. [Note also that the antahkarana is often called the rainbow bridge due to, as a universal meditation employed by Souls of all the seven rays alongside on personality ray levels all have been, on all the rays. The term obviously becomes, self evident or perhaps more so when technique details are covered.] I would like here very succinctly to recall a few of them to your attention: 1. Knowledge-force expresses itself through the consciousness thread and the creative thread. 2. These two threads are, for the disciple, a fusion of past knowledge (the consciousness thread) and the present (the creative thread). 3. The life thread or sutratma proper [and the basis of immortality to which we might add its connection to the Eternal Now] is closely blended with these two. You then have atma-buddhi-manas (the latter being the agent of creation) functioning to a certain degree consciously in the aspirant. 4. The fusion of personality and soul is in process, but when it has reached a certain point it becomes apparent that a creativity or a creative activity of the Will is needed to bridge between the Spiritual Triad and the personality, via the soul. 5. The bridge which must be constructed is called, technically, the antahkarana. 6. This bridge has to be built by the aspirant who is focussed upon the mental plane, because it is mental substance (in three grades) which must be used, and the three aspects of the mindthe manasic permanent atom, the Son of Mind or Ego, and the mental unitare all involved in the process. Students would do well to learn that this process of building the antahkarana is one of the means whereby man, the trinity, becomes a duality. When the task is completed and the antahkarana is definitely builtthus producing perfect alignment between the Monad and its expression upon the physical planethe body of the soul (the causal body) is completely and finally destroyed by the fire of the Monad, pouring down the antahkarana. There is then complete reciprocity between the Monad and the fully conscious soul on the physical plane. The divine intermediary is no longer required. The Son of God Who is the Son of Mind dies; the veil of the temple is rent in twain from the top to the bottom; the fourth initiation is passed, and there then comes the revelation of the Father. This is the final and far-reaching result of the building of the bridge which is, in reality, the establishing of a line of light between Monad and personality as a full expression of 13

the soulbetween spirit and matter, between Father and Mother. It is evidence that spirit has mounted on the shoulders of matter to that high place from whence it originally came, plus the gain of experience and of full knowledge, and of all that life in material form could give and all that conscious experience could confer. The Son has done His work. The task of the Saviour or of the Mediator has been completed. The unity of all things is known to be a fact in consciousness, and a human spirit can say with intention and with understanding: I and my Father are one. The above is a brief and probably meaningless statement except theoretically, but it summarises the task which lies ahead and the work of the disciple who is in process of constructing the antahkarana. There is a close connection between the fourth initiation, the quaternary [or personality] in its evolved conditionvital body, emotional vehicle, mind and souland this fourth technical stage of building consciously the rainbow bridge. You have therefore: 1. The Quaternary, the creative factor on Earth. 2. The fourth initiation, that of the Crucifixion [sometimes called, the Renunciation in esoteric or Buddhist circles.] 3. The fourth technical stage of building the Antahkarana: a. Sutratma, the life thread. b. The consciousness thread. c. The creative thread, itself threefold. d. The technical antahkarana, bridging between the threefold personality and the Spiritual Triad. 4. The four stages of the Path of Return: a. The stage of evolution itself. b. The stage of the Probationary Path. c. The stage of the Path of Discipleship. d. The stage of the Path of Initiation. Yet it is one and the same entity which participates in and is responsible for all the differentiated aspects, steps and stagesexperimenting, experiencing and expressing consciously in every one of these stages or modes of life, until the fourth initiation. Then consciousness itself gives place to life, and yet remains itself. To the above statement, add the fact that it is the fourth kingdom in nature which undergoes all that is indicated above and is conditioned by the four aspects of the one sutratma.
