4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Emergency First Aid Procedures: Remove person from exposer site. If spilled on clothing or skin,
remove contaminated clothing and wash your body part that has been in contact with product for 12-17
minutes with warm soapy water and seek medical advice. If splashed in eyes and wearing contact lens
remove contact lenses and irrigate the affected eye with lukewarm water for at least 12-17 minutes and
seek medical advice. If no contact lens irrigate the affected eye with lukewarm water for at least 12-17
minutes and seek medical advice. If product is inhaled or ingested seek medical advice.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Flammable: Yes
Means of Extinction: For large fires use water and/or foam and spray, fog. For smaller fires use a dry
chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray or alcohol-resistant foam
Flashpoint (oC) and Method: >800C (>1760F)
Upper Flammable Limit (% by volume):
Not Determined
Lower Flammable Limit (% by volume):

Autoignition Temperature ( C): 399 C
Explosion Data Sensitivity to Impact:
Not Determined
Explosion Data Sensitivity to Static Discharge: Not Determined
Hazardous Combustion Products: Vapors could form an explosive mixture with air. It is also possible for
vapors to travel to a source of ignition and flash back. Flammable liquid can release vapors that form
explosive mixtures at temperatures above the flashpoint. Containers may explode in the heat of a fire.
Use water spray to keep fire exposed containers cools.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Leak and Spill Procedures:
Contain spills with absorbent material and dispose. Discard material according to local. Provencal and
Federal regulations

7. STORAGE & HANDLING

Storage Requirements:
Keep away from fire and ignition sources: heat, sparks, and flame. Store in an air tight container. Avoid
contact with oxidizing materials. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible
chemical/substances: perchlorates, peroxides, chromic acid or nitric acid.
Handling Procedures and Equipment:
Wash thoroughly after handling. Assure proper ventilation when using product. Use only grounded and
bond containers when transporting material. Use spark proof tools and explosion proof equipment.
Avoid all contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. It is important to remember that empty containers retain
product residue (liquid and/ or vapor) and can be dangerous. Keep containers tightly closed at all times.
Always keep away from heat, sparks, and flame. Never ingestion and/or inhalation. Do not pressurize,
cut, weld, braze, solder, drill or expose empty or full containers to heat sparks or open flames.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL/ PERSONAL PROTECTION

Specific Engineering Controls (such as ventilation, enclosed process): Use explosion-proof ventilation.
Facilities storing or using the product should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower.
Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations low.
Personal Protective Equipment: Ask you supervisor for guidance on PPE: Gloves, Respirator, Eye,
Footwear, Clothing.

10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY

Chemical Stability: Stable under average/common temperatures and pressures
Incompatibility with Other Substances: with strong oxidizing agents, alkali and acids.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: None

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA): All ingredients are on the TSCA inventory or are not required to be
listed on the TSCA inventory.
Respiratory Sensitization: No information available.
Effects of Acute Exposure: Can cause skin irritation and respiratory issues if proper precautions are not
taken, see Section 3-4 and 7.
Effects of Chronic Exposure: Can cause skin irritation and respiratory issues if proper precautions are
not taken, see Section 3-4 and 7.
Carcinogenicity IARC: None
Carcinogenicity ACGIH: None
Reproductive Toxicity: Not determined
Teratogenicity: Not determined
Embryotoxicity: Not determined
Mutagenicity: Not determined

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION

Aquatic Toxicity: When applied/mixed with soil and water the solvent Benzyl alcohol and the ethylene
glycol and alcohol generate a reaction with water and may partially evaporate. When applied/mixed
with soil the ethanol can leach into groundwater. When applied to water these materials area expected
to exhibit a half-life between 1 and 3 days. One active ingredient, a Organo silicon compound, will react
chemically with inorganic substrates such as soil, aggregates, or sand and prevent the possibility of
leaching out to the ground water.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATION

Waste Disposal: According to local regulation.
