TRAIN PO-X WAS TRAVELING EAST ON THE MAINLINE APPROACHING THE RIVERSIDE ST. CROSSING IN PORTLAND, MAINE. THE GATES OF THE
CROSSING CAME DOWN. THE OPERATOR OF THE FIRST VEHICLE STOPPED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE SIGNAL GATES THE OPERATOR TRAVELING
SOUTH DECIDED TO CROSS BETWEEN THE SIGNAL GATES IN ORDER TO BEAT THE APPROACHING TRAIN. AT THAT POINT TRAIN PO-X ENTERED INTO
THE CROSSING UNABLE TO STOP AND STRUCK THE REAR QUARTER OF THE VEHICLE CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE AND MINOR

TRAIN WAS WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND APPROACHING FOREST AVE. CROSSING. VEHICLE DRIVER CLAIMS THE GATES DID NOT COME DOWN AND
STOPPED ON THE CROSSING AND THE TRAIN WAS UNABLE TO STOP IN TIME AND STRUCK THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE.
