Provided overall support and maintenance of the UNIX (HP -UX), Linux, OS X and Microsoft
hardware platforms in order to ensure that vital data for applications related to student grades,
payroll and other district level needs were available and ensured district accreditation
Supported the routine hardware and software audits across the requisite systems for
compliance with policies, guidelines and standards to ensure SLAs were achieved
Provided recommendations for changes, upgrades and new hardware aligned with optimizing
the budget while reducing overall cost.
Implementation of a secure FTP server and web -based client application in less than 6 months
by establishing a unique relationship with the vendor to have the state required applications in
place two weeks before the state deadline and three weeks before the web -based client
application was due for release.
Creation, support, training and documentation of the Mood le LMS sites for the 55 campuses of
the district.
Streamlined shell scripting (bsh, bash & ksh) for mission critical tasks in the UNIX environment
which reduced laptop deployments for teachers from 3 months to 2 weeks for the entire district

Created internal technical overview white papers for Sales and Marketing team as a resource

Selected to assist a key client with disaster recovery in an effort to reduce their down time. A
full day was recovered and my goodwill resulted in generating additional revenue of $200K.
Provided vital working samples during training th at resulted in reducing the time to test and
debug an investment application by a full week. Once in production the application generated
$2.5 million above the projected target.
Developed, designed and deployed custom financial forecasting course ware fo r a key banking
client which utilized MS Excel, MS Access and interfaced with Oracle database tables. During
course delivery discovered and provided a resolution to an error in clients Oracle transactional
application which would have resulted in billion s of dollars being unaccounted for.
Consistently exceeded the client expectations at time of VB course deliveries and with follow up to ensure that the transfer of critical knowledge was maintained after a large reduction in
the workforce had occurred with one of our key financial clients. This resulted in none of the
key skills and business knowledge related to their VB applications being lost.
